Great ride, great view.

You can drive up Mont Faron but unless you are on a motorbike or a glutton for cycling punishment the cable car is the only way to go!

This is a must do in Toulon. There are a number of local buses that will take you to Mont Faron for the centre of Toulon, the nos. 40 and 3 are just just two. After reading a very helpful review from a Tripadvisor contributor, I discovered that you can buy a one day transport ticket for 7.50 euro that... More

After getting off the cruise ship and studying the map, we decided to walk to the cable car..... map was not to scale and we then realised, after about an hour of walking in intense heat and sunshine, when once again we stopped to asked directions from another local that we had probably made a mistake when he said "are... There are not so many things to do up there except for hiking, so if you like hiking like me it's a great idea to take that cable car.

Took the city bus to the cable car. Rode up to see the views. This was a difficult process that should not be. Had to find the tourist center to purchase bus and cable car tickets. The city bus was full of both locals and tourists. In June there could have been more buses as it was close to a... More

The view is great from the top. The ride is short but gives a nice adrenaline kick if you don't like heights. The passing of the canyon was nice. Not sure of it on purpose slows down on this part, but it seemed like it. It's not that expensive, and on top there is (after a 20 minute walk) a... More

An absolute must for anyone visiting Toulon. Easy to find and tickets were relatively cheap from memory. Several bars and cafes at the top with terraces where you can enjoy the spectacular views. The telepherique is closed Monday AM but think it's open pretty much the rest of the time

Reasonably priced. Short wait times. Fun family activity. Not a lot to do at the summit. Restaurants, tired gift shop and some more amenities under construction during our visit.

Mont Faron provides a spectacular view of the port of Toulon and the Mediterranean. The telapherique is a fun ride and the easiest way to the top of Mont Faron.
