As with all French zoos, the cages are so small and run down.... but it's a big breeding centre for big cats, so it's not going anywhere. I just wish the enclosures were bigger and the animals had more stimulation.

I visited the Zoo as it was included in the cable car ticket. It was a pleasant stroll along some woodland tracks with nice views and wild lizards can be spotted! The zoo is manned by one chirpy gentleman on his own, he checked the...More

I find it hard to believe that a zoo in a developed, first world country can treat animals so terribly. All large cats are kept in small enclosures with no room to exercise, they look overweight, unhealthy and miserable. If you work for this zoo,...More

The zoo holds a great collection of various cats including leopards, lions, panthers, cougars, bobcats and more. The cages are small and not very well maintained. The small entry fee is worth it and the tour will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

The zoo is located about 500 m from the cable car, you'll need to walk by yourself, no transportation. The animals looked like they are not so happy to be there, like someone left them there, and that is their destiny. Lazy Lion, some monkeys,...More

Once you have got to the top of Mont Faron by whatever means it seems a shame not to visit the zoo that has somewhat curiously been placed there. It costs €9 adults €4.50 children to get in and frankly is not worth it. It...More
