Very clean and modern vessel (Piana). Good restaurant, efficient and nice hut, and all personnel is really friendly and trying to help you, from embarkment until disembarkment. We had a very smooth and relaxed journey from Ajaccio to Marseille. La Méridionale is far more expensive than Moby, but the price is in line with the much better quality of the journey. The only point of critic: all information is only in French, and nobody speaks English.

After a very stressful drive we arrived in Marseille to be greeted with a reassuring don’t worry you are here and we will get you on board. They did! A drink watching the sunset and simple dinner. Slept through and then watched the sun rise over Corsica.
Cabin, staff, choice of food all rated good. Can’t wait till next year!

The positives: efficient and quick boarding process, nice clean room, friendly service, quick service at the panoramic bar.
The negatives: chaos at dinner with huge queues waiting for the sit down service, we ate at the buffet restaurant and the food at best was 2/5, not enough hand sanitizer in the middle of the pandemic.
Overall good, I would use them again and can recommended for the crossing to Porto Vecchio.

We tried to book our ferry crossing from Ajaccio to Marseille online, but somehow the computer did not recognize our North American phone number. We called and were helped by a friendly attendant. The actual crossing was very good. A bit of a wait in Ajaccio for the shuttle to show up, but then the great experience started. From security staff to onboard personnel including cheerful and friendly breakfast room attendants, everybody was pleasant. A good size cabin with a very clean bathroom. Except for some essential PA announcements, we could sleep during the 12 hour nighttime crossing. We had also paid for a breakfast buffet, which was very good. The breakfast room attendants were just the kind of people you want to see at six in the morning. When exiting the ferry (we walked) there was a shuttle bus waiting taking us to the Place Joliette. Overall, a very positive experience. A movie theatre on board (did not go) and reasonably priced restaurants (good choice and affordable), this was a very good experience.

I am a very satisfied user of this shipping company for many years because I am used to going to Corsica for my summer holidays. I chose this company because they were never strikes.
This year I bought my tickets on Nov 22ND 2018 for a departure on june 21st.2019 which means 7 months in advance. I payed cash as usual.
I got a notice about a strike beginning on june 21st. I called this morning the agency in order to anticipate and the proposed my a departure on june 19th. I agreed but had to pay extra 160 euros.
I don't agree with this and I wanted to write this review to say to everybody:
YES MERIDONALE ALSO HAS STRIKES.
I am wandering about changing my way to go to Corsica next year. I am very upset.

A very clean and comfortable trip, with a good value meal and nice cocktails. Transport provided by ferry on arrival at Marseille - due to non-existent pedestrian access

We are using this company for 8 years. We tried the other, too bad compared to the Méridionale.
No personal business interest. Just the facts.
Rooms, diners, everything should go on as is.

Crossing from Marseille to Porto Torres in Sardinia. The boat itself, the Kalliste, is a pretty typical ferry, fine but not brand new. On board services are simple: reception to get your cabin key when boarding, a great bar and a restaurant. Plenty of opportunity to walk around outside and admire the views.

Prices onboard were reasonable: 6€ for a gin and tonic in the bar, 15-20€ for a good main course in the restaurant.

Negative points for the experience in the port: as foot passengers, finding the correct entrance to the port was difficult. Also breakfast, sold as an unlimited buffet for 8.50 € was mediocre - bad coffee was the worst part, and the food was ok (cereals, croissants, jams, Corsican charcuterie, yoghurt, etc).
