As if transported and guided in Marcel Pagnol’s footsteps by unparalleled actors, here we are immersed in “my mother’s castle” with happiness. A candy of yesteryear! The setting of the Château de Vauclaire to relive the memories of his childhood, precious and simple moments... we (with our 3 teenagers) were all charmed, conquered by the quality of the game and the text of Pagnol that it is good to find or discover... To reiterate with friends or family! You walk gently around the castle, in an atmosphere that lends itself to it, without realizing the passing of time! Just remember to take a small cushion to sit more comfortably during stopovers. We can’t wait to discover more theatrical hikes next season! Bravo and thank you for this nice break!

We had the pleasure of seeing "my mother's castle" all 6 of us, on a Saturday morning in October, under a radiant and warm sun and thank you very much for this timeless bubble of more than 3 hours, at middle of nature, with wonderful actors and joyful and caring support. It was a very beautiful and moving experience, very accessible for legs of all ages, full of laughter, humor and emotions. A really huge thank you and a huge congratulations to the whole team! We will surely meet you again with pleasure, on other paths of the scrubland for new Pagnolesque paintings! 💖

The theatrical walk ‘The Castle of my Mother’ captivated all our senses from beginning to end. Talented and passionate actors immerse us in the world of Pagnol, paying tribute to his stories with emotion and delicacy. The natural setting, which unfolds as the walk goes on, adds an incredible immersive dimension, as if the landscape were an integral part of history. Between laughter and moments of poetry, we lived a real enchantment. A special mention for Emmanuel Fell, director and troupe leader, whose artistic vision and impeccable direction made this show a total success. Recommended without hesitation for all lovers of theatre and Provence!

The shows of this company are extraordinary. We had an excellent time during this theatrical walk around Pagnol's "my mother's castle". The place, the Vauclair estate, was magnificent. The only downside is that it is a shame that this wine estate did not invite us to taste its wine but offered it to us at a fairly prohibitive price of €5 per glass. Another unpleasant remark we noticed that even the actors had to pay for their bottle of wine. It's regrettable when we know that thanks to this company more than 200 people have been attracted to the field. I don't think I will return to this area to buy wine.

What I was able to remember from this Sunday in October 2023 is that I spent a pleasant day with brilliant actors who were pleasant to listen to and scenes where I went back in time
The scenes are very well played, the laughter was there
I highly recommend this outing with friends or family, you won't regret it.
Now I know that I will follow these actors and their shows
Come and see you will be very surprised and delighted
To you actors thank you and see you soon

The troupe “Dans la Cour des Grands” immerses us in the past, we are no longer in Marseille in 2023 but in the era of Marcel Pagnol, with the nature of the park, the song of the birds and Joseph, Augustine, Paul and Marcel are there, with us, we are with them. The staging, direction and actors use the locations perfectly well and even really highlight them. The proximity to the actors adds to the immersion and whether it is laughter or tears, the emotions are more direct, we are more touched, more concerned and in no way damage the memories of Marcel Pagnol's stories that I have. am built in my childhood. I had a great time, we will come back to see you with great pleasure. THANK YOU for paying such a beautiful tribute to the Pagnol universe.

Thank you to the troupe for giving us such a wonderful time!
The youngest did not know much about the work of Marcel Pagnol, we accompanied my mother who is a big fan and we loved it! We all shed our tears!
For those for whom it was a discovery as much as for the connoisseurs it was a moment full of emotions and a beautiful dive into the work of Pagnol.
The actors are talented and generous, it was great to be able to chat with them and the director who is willing to talk.
Thanks again !

This is the second show I've seen from this company and it's really an excellent time. The actors and actresses transport us into Pagnol's world and their characters are truly colorful.
Moreover, at the end of the show, they are applauded for a long time.

Superb show in a very beautiful place, the Château de Vauclaire. As with the two previous shows, immediately transported into the world of Pagnol. The quality of listening to the hundreds of people sitting on the floor or on small rickety armchairs is alone proof of the talent of the actors. A big thank you for this magical moment. The only downside is the commercialism of the castle owners...

For a few hours we are immersed in the world of Marcel Pagnol. Magnificent time spent with family through scenes played in a superb natural setting. the attention to detail in terms of costumes and accessories gives us the illusion of taking the time machine. Excellent interpretation by the artists.
Bring cushions or folding chairs to appreciate this performance even more.
