Take the Metro 1 till Castellane (2 stations from Old Port , 4 from Train Station). Take B1 bus towards Parque National de Calanques. The bus ends there. Bring sturdy hiking shoes. First 2 km are easy. But stone in some areas is slipery. Bring a picnic and possibly your swimsuit and flipflops. There are NO WASHROOMS. There is only water access at the beginning of the park. But its cool and good to drink. Several teailswill bring you to a belvedere or the beach. Both ways have fantastic views!! But just the hike, fresh air, unique place will make your day. It will cost you 2eu as metro and bus are within one hour trip. Enjoy!!

Your hike starts at the university of marseille, the path is quite easy to find. The path itself is easy to walk in the beginning, the last 20 min is a bit steep, but still ok. DOnt wear flipflops tho. I would recommend going very early in the morning, you will be one of the first and have a good spot for yourself on the rocks. After 12 o clock in the summer, it gets awfully crowded. Also bring enough water because there are no possibilities to buy anything during the hike. But after all, the view is very very worth it!

Put on your walking shoes, and enjoy your walk! The starting point is Luminy (access: bus 21). It is an easy track and presents no major risk (sometimes there are areas with steep slopes but with a good pair of walking shoes it's ok). From the panoramic viewpoint you can get a spectacular view of the calanques. It is worth the effort as the view is breath taking.
