I've thought about this review for a long time since our tour was back in February. Having been on multiple tours of this nature I feel comfortable giving a review of my experience. The tour itself was nothing special and actually a bit discombobulated. In the beginning, there was a lot of confusion and uncertainty as to what was going to happen due to two different tours taking place at the same time. After that was straightened out and we got underway. The tour guide was able and provided an adequate effort in providing information while also keeping us engaged. I did however feel he could have been more engaging and informative. On a separate note, we had a misunderstanding that resulted in us having to take a taxi to the meeting place that cost us 20 euros from the cruise ship. After getting there we spoke with the owner Helene who assured us that they would reimburse us that cost due to the mix-up. Long story short, that didn't happen and we only received a partial refund.…

Hi, thanks for your review. Our driver was on time and on the right place to pick you up from cruise terminal but you made the mistake to take a taxi and go directly in the city center meeting point. When you talked to Helen, she told you would get a refund that we kindly did. We refunded you the amount you payed for the both pick up and drop off (€14), and we explain you we could not pay the taxi bill (€20) because i was not our mistake. At the end, we also kindly drop you back to the ship for free. We exchanged so many emails and you never admit your responsability and now still complain 8 month after for €6.

Julien is a top star guide and with his great command of English and quick wit and humour this was an excellent trip. He went out his way above and beyond my expectations to ensure that everyone in our group had a great time. As well as exploring the old town, the old port, the beaches and the coast we also did the workout climb to the top of Notre Dame which was amazing for the views and the freewheeling on the way down. The electric bike is great to give you that extra bit of help. There were plenty of rest and photo stops along the way of this fantastic port city. Julien picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise ship terminal. I would highly recommend this trip from around age 3 upwards.…

The meeting point is in the Vieux Port. We were a family of four (48-46-18-16) and there was another couple. We had a very nice guide, Cindy. From the meeting point it is 2 minutes walking to the bikes. Notes before the start: bring plenty of water (or drinks!). You don’t get any (which I find strange given the price) but the bikes have sacks to pack your stuff. Also bring towel and swimsuit. Regarding the bikes: we have had better e-bikes but they were ok (8/10). The saddles are comfortable for the 42,7km ride. Then the tour: few stops (which is good) for explanation but too many stops because of traffic. I consider us very experienced bikers but the traffic in Marseille is crazy! There were a couple of times I felt unsafe. Most of the tour is not on biking lanes so you meed to be experienced to manage it through the traffic. Also you need a very good condition and powerful legs (even helped by the e-bike!) to make a to the top to the Basilique. But it is worth it! Then going downwards, out of the city is easier and you ride beautifully along the beach. You get a 1 hour stop to eat your lunch (delicious sandwich that you buy during the trip) and swim in the beach (no toilets, no dressing rooms so be prepared for that). The largest part of the tour is nice but some parts in the city centre we did not like (mainly because of the crazy traffic) and that makes me rate it 4 instead of 5. …

Review of: Marseille Smalll Group Electric Bike Tour
Our guide ( Manu ) was very nice and explained a lot about Marseille. He recommended places to eat, swim, and visit. He's a prpud of local, and we were very happy to be in his group. Me and my daughter appreciate the fact that he continued the tour with only four people as it is under the limit and he couldve cancelled any minute. The bikes are in good condition and they are very amusing and easy to ride, they offered bike helmets even though it is optional. Great activity definitely recommend. …

Review of: Marseille Smalll Group Electric Bike Tour
Again a great bike tour booked via baja bikes. Our guide Manu showed us around the most beautiful places in Marseille in a very safe way. He was so very excited about Marseille and the local history that you had no other choice than to share this enthousiasm. Since there were only 3 of us, we could even stop in a local café for a drink before climbing all the way up to the Notre Dame de la Garde. However, with the electric bikes, this was no problem at all. I would certainly recommend this tour to everyone, to get a great first impression of Marseille.…
