very nice area

Went for lunch there, you have the choice, fish, meat, cheap, expensive, outside, inside, and the lay out is friendly and make you feel confortable. Good for lunch

I visit this square a lot as it "on top of" the most used underground parking in the "Vieux Port" (Old Port) in Marseille....the reason for this review is that I have eaten at a couple of the many restaurants in the square and they're all pretty OK....however they renovated an old building at the parking garage entrance and made... Wonderful square just off the Vieux Port. The square is a haven for diners who are looking for value and atmosphere. One of my biggest regrets is that we never managed to experience the quality of the food despite setting off there on the final night of our visit to Marseille. Road works were in progress which resulted in changes... More

There's a lot of restaurants here so watch out. Very near the old port so stroll through. Many cafes and bars and restaurants at all price levels. Use a tourist map and also see Place Thiars next door.

Lovely little area just off the main road around the old port. Best area for good restaurants - lots with outdoor seating.

This Place is quite large and lively. There are many restaurants located here and there are a lot of people at night.

Almost a prt of the old port, this area of Marseille should be included in the port visit. For a history that goes back to the times of the Greeks, oil, Provence and the Mediterranean go hand in hand. Modern olive oils are excellent try some of the different flavours and then wonder why the incidence of heart problems amongst... More

Plenty of restaurants, a big silent place, just a few meters from the quay. You can stay here and relax, enjoy a drink, a meal, a chat.

Whatever you are seeking to settle your appetite, this is the place in Marseille to find it. The only reason for me that it lost a spot from Excellent is right now the Harbour is going through so much construction that the area is not quite as nice as it will be when all is done.

if you're stuck for places to eat this is where to head. countless restaurants and bars here, this was vibing on weekend nights. Some are naturally better than others so obviously be sceptical about deals that seem too good to be true, but yeh, very nicely preserved old building and a nice space in the city centre.
