The one in the Vieux Port

This place is my favourite in the Vieux port. Offers beautiful views with a cocktail in your hand. Well sided by Jazz Music and excellent environment.

If you can find a vacant table on the small terrace, grab it quick. Lovely view over the port towards Notre Dame in full sun, plus a drink. An excellent place to rest your feet.

I love the balcony view of this bar - and even the interior is classic and beautiful. The drinks are also very nice. The service is usually quite good.

On the first floor of the Bellevue Hotel, with a tiny balcony overlooking the port, this is a great hang out for drinks and simple food. The feel is shabby chic, with low lights mis-matched furniture, but the cocktails are spot on, the wine list good and well-priced, and the food, served on 'ardoises' i.e. slates, is fresh and tasty.... I was introduced to La Caravelle when I was still a teenager and I have fond memories of the place. If you don't know about it, chances are you wont find it as it is on the first floor of a building. Drinks are reasonnably priced and food was always fresh and varied - tapas style. It is a very... More

The bartender suggested a very nice wine to us and we sat on the balcony and enjoyed the weather and the view. We thought the wine was a touch on the expensive side (€5ish for 10cl), but would have happily gone back anyway just to enjoy all the things that La Caravelle has to offer. It was a little difficult... More

Loved this place for its uniqueness and decor... Retro ramshackle with great views outside and curiosities inside. In the age of corporate branding, this brand of bar stands on the shoulders of giants.

A friend recommended this place for the view. Luckily the view made the experience. Walking up the stairs almost made me turn around. It could use an ambush makeover and some curb appeal. The bathroom is stinky and the smell wafts in the hallway and stairwell. The further into the place you go the better it gets because the interior... More

We found it on a website recommending unmissable places on a 36 hour visit to Marseille and it turned out just as described.
