Chris gave us a 1/2 day tour of Aix that was one of the most informative I've ever had. His attention to detail is phenominal besides interesting; not just about the usual stuff but also the UNusual. We were also very appreciative of the pace and patience he showed for us. Chris should be the poster child for tour guides.

I learned so much on my walking tour of Aix en Provence with Chris Curtis. He took me to the usual lovely spots, as well as hidden gems that I could have never found on my own. He gave me a real sense of how the city may have felt centuries ago. I really enjoyed seeing and hearing about the unique features of the city’s architecture, from secret passageways to the mansions (now businesses and shops) that line the gorgeous Cours Mirabeau. I highly recommend taking a tour through Aix en Provence with Chris Curtis.

I was part of a small group guided by Chris through the historic city center of Aix-en-Provence. Even though I knew most of the sights before, Chris opened my eyes for the beauty of details I had failed to see by my own. He has this very sensitive and decent way to encourage somebody to handle the camera. His selection of fountains, sculptures, buildings and fassades is based on solid knowledge of the historic background. This tour was one of the highlights of my stay in Southern France. And, I have some pictures of Aix, which are both: very personal and presentable,

Well, I am almost ashamed of the fact that I took time to write this review. I was traveling and a bunch of other things happened. But let me tell you, that I found Chris from a website that aggregates tours, and I am so happy that I did. I was on a solo trip in Aix, and as a traveler and photographer, wanted to go with somebody who understands these aspects. I ended up spending half a day with him. Apart from his vast knowledge about the place, and passion for photography, he is such a good story teller. I loved the details provided by him and definitely would recommend this tour to anybody who likes history or photography or just wants to know about Aix. A big thumbs up.

Christopher was as entertaining as he was knowledgeable, guiding us through Marseille. From history to local lore, after our tour we were more confident navigating on our visit. We appreciated the details: water coffee before our departure, lists of places to visit and advice on where to eat/shop. THE perfect way to start our trip. Guide gives tour in English or French.

I wanted to organise something special for my family as we were recently visiting family in the south of France - we all love beautiful gardens, good food (wine too!) and my daughter is a budding photographer - so off we went on a tour to visit a vinyard with great art in the grounds - a great place to eat and superb wine. But the BIG plus was Chris, our tour guide and an experienced photographer, so we had just a blast. It was such fun, combining improving our creative skills ;-) and having our own personal guide for the day. Afternoon added on a visit to nearby Aix en Provence and if anything the day went far to quickly. A day out with transport and lunch and lots of info along the way both culturally and creatively made this a high spot of our holiday. Super super super ...

I met Chris when I was in search of someone who could guide me in Marseille and carry out some photography for my blog and writing. Chris is hands down one of the most professional photographers I have met - and an absolute gem of an individual - he showed me some amazing sites in Marseille, advised on the all aspects of life in France, and took some really fantastic photos of my time there. I highly recommend Chris for any photography, guide and days out you may need - he is excellent and super lovely! <3
