We visited on market day - albeit the latter was very disappointing, very small with not enough variety. However, the town is very attractive and the tourist map/info sheet is the best we have found - all the sites are clearly marked and have information plaques to read when the location is found. The restaurants are diverse and of very... More

It's a medieval fabulous village full of little corners where is nice to get lost and take pictures. Instagrammer can get crazy! Squares and fountains and art galleries. This is Vince when you just add Cafes and restaurants. People are friendly and you feel safe, which is nor secondary nowadays.

Vence did not impress me too much in compare with other towns or villages of Provence. Small area of old town and center. Nothing memorable and everything closes very early, nothing to do and see after 6pm. Other part of city is modern and contemporary and very close to old part. You can cross old town for less than 1... More

Love the narrow streets of the old city in vence. This fountain and the place du peyra in vence is very nice to spend some time eating lunch or dinner. I would recommend the restaurant des Pigeoniers. Very good.

Vence is a very beautiful and peaceful town. In the old town you'll find narrow streets and beautiful squares wilh nice shops, some art galleries and plenty of restaurants. You should try Le Michel Ange on Place Godeau.

As is often the case in France, head for the vieux ville. The walled town hides a myriad of little alleyways all with something new to explore. There are many cafes and restaurants offering simple reasonably priced fare. It's actually more fun to wander through the little streets without the aid of a town map and allow yourself to stumble... All town visit for museum, restaurants, open markets and nice shops, you will have a timeless and charming visit to the old town as well as a complete shopping experience in the modern one. No snobish but simple and straightforward people.

We have been staying on the edge of Vence in a villa. Everything is within easy walking distance. The old town is just delightful with plenty of wonderful shops and restaurants and cafes. Lots of delightful squares and charming streets....lovely!
