Not A Great Place-No Free Maps
May 2019 • Couples
It was small and had only one staff member visible and we went in for a FREE map of St Tropez Should have realized nothing is free in St Tropez and they had one for Euro 2.00. I always have had the view that these places are there to promote the place, help visitors etc but not in St Tropez

Granted, its the digital age and everyone has maps and a wealth of info on their phone at a moments notice... wait. its France and my US phone was having some serious issues. The others I was with were having more luck, but service was extremely slow and the data was expensive. For that reason we walked into this office to ask for some area maps and try to get info on several things. The women in the office were friendly, but didnt have any sort of paper map to hand out. ?? isnt that one of the primary functions of these sorts of places? The office seemed to be set up to advertise boat tours or hotel stays and had we needed either that would have been great, but we didnt. A few random questions about the surrounding area revealed nothing that wasnt common knowledge and nothing else was being volunteered, so we left knowing nothing that we didnt when we walked in.

2 euros for a small map
Sep 2016 • Couples
Stopped in the office for information and it's more of a sales job...asking 2 euros for a small foldout map of the city. Everyone gets the same advice and same walking "tour" to follow.

Not what we expected
Apr 2016 • Couples
While the tour gave us knowledge of the area - first made famous when Bridget Bardot filmed Roger Vadim's "And God Created Woman" in 1955, we did not see the glitz and glamour you typically think of when you hear St. Tropez. We also visited Grimaud, Gassin and Ramatuelle, three hilltop villages high above St. Tropez that had glorious views of the Provence and St. Tropez area, including overseeing the harbor and the Mediterranean.

Located near the harbor or port and old town with knowledgeable staff. Surprisingly, unlike the other tourism offices in France this place charges Euro 2 for a map.

Local St Tropezian knowledge just bursting to be shared!
Sep 2015 • Friends
Helpful friendly staff just waiting to share the fun and wonderful moments to be had in St Tropez! Open most of the time, the usual custom of a long lunch applies, but hey you are the Sputh of France, slow down, relax, with a great bottle of wine and stroll there in the afternoon to find put where to explore with local knowledge.

My advice to those traveling to St tropez would be to do your ground work and research before arriving, because the service you will get in the tourist office is a proper disgrace.

After arriving to St Tropez on the ferry (on the 7/9/15 at 12pm) we decided to make our way to the tourist office to get a map and some advice on some local attractions. We were met with a half-hearted hello from a young guy behind the counter who grunted that the map was 2 euro. We counted out the 2 euro in change and handed it over to the guy. Maybe he wasn't good with numbers and didn't fancy counting the change, so instead of a thank you, he tutted at us, mumbled something under his breath and threw the map at us. We had handed him 1 euro coin, 50 cent coin and the rest in 10s and 5s, plus we were the only people there. It wasnt going to eat into his lunch break to have to count it all. We were a bit shocked but remembering our manners we left with a good bye and a thank you. But the guy didn't even look up at us. He really made us feel like rubbish. We had to go and get a 10 euro coffee after it to help us refrain from folding the map into a particular shape, bursting back into that tourist office, and telling that guy where he can put the map.

My advice to the guy, find another career my friend. You should not be a representative of St tropez.
