L'étoile de village.
Dec 2019 • Solo
It was an ordinary trip that day, until I came across this little church. À genuine wonder: small size, but it offers à lot to learn and observe. The guide is à very nice man. He has told me about the churche's history and the treasures one can see there. In the end of à visit I've à couple of donations, with my heart at ease and in good mood.)

A Beautiful Respite
Jun 2019
This beautiful church, built over four centuries, invites peaceful prayer, meditation or reflection in an otherwise heavily commercialized village.

Sanctuary from the Tourist Hoards!
May 2018 • Couples
This church, located within the protection to the fortified village of St Paul-de-Vence, has quite a bland low key exterior but the interior has some more vibrant and interesting features. The church is definitely worth 15 minutes of your time and is a cool and peaceful escape from the sunshine and hoards of tourists

Simple but Beautiful
Jan 2018 • Couples
This simple church was first built in the 14th century, and finished in the 18th century with a combination of structures and styles.

The central nave still features the original late Romanesque style, while the side aisles were added in the 16th century to enlarge the building. The church was made a collegiate church in 1666, and new interior decorations were purchased such as the choir which was sculpted in 1668. The chapel of Saint Clement was also built at the same time in the Baroque style.

The church has four chapels and a collection of antiquities which include parchment from the 16th century, a Tintoretto painting and precious jewellery. The grand bell tower dates from the 18th century.

A huge Nativity scene was still on view, many places seem to keep their Christmas decorations well into January, much longer than we do in England where we take them down before the twelfth night.

Wondering Around St Paul
Jun 2017 • Couples
A quaint little church in St Paul. Some very interesting artwork. Would have liked to have lit a prayer candle in such a magnificent shrine.

Nice Church to Visit -& ask about the Convent PassPrest... its Chapel is special
Aug 2016
Lovely church, however check the PassPresst Convent Chapel - only opened @ daily mass hour. The Korean Dominican nuns have been running amazing projects for under priviledge children, and they deserve fundraising and awareness for the under-cover work they do.
