We have been visiting this iconic art gallery since the 1990s. Each summer, we have a feeling of great anticipation when we visit the fondation and view new exhibitions that are curated there. It is not a huge gallery so don't expect wonders as the collection is fairly limited. The outdoor space is truly amazing when you walk among several... More

We've been dying to come here for ages and weren't disappointed. It had a Christo exhibition which was wonderful. Beautiful location and setting. Marvellous buildings. Have the rumbaba at the cafe...mmmmmmm

The outdoor space and art are really quite spectacular, but the inside gallery space is very limited. Knowing that they have a massive art collection, it was disappointing that so little of it was on display.

I loved this place. It is full of magic, nested in the pine forest, peaceful and superbly curated. A bit pricey, but I would definitely recommend it. The garden is also super nice, take a book or a deck of card and enjoy.

The place has a very exciting architecture with the museum build in harmony with the garden it is in, with a beautiful garden. Art to see and experience everywhere inside and outside. This summer there is a Christo exhibition with a fantastic retrospective of his and his wife's work.

Very much focused on Christo's work and specifically his oil barrel series which becomes a little stifling as there is little else. The patron's story is wonderful and applaud the vision but there is little variety.

The permanent collection is very good, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, there is space for a very high caliber of temporary exhibits which are worth while seeing.

This modern art museum is a gem and if you are anywhere near this area, and love modern art, is a not to be missed. The grounds are spectacular, and the beauty you are surrounded with at every turn is breathtaking. Their collection is extensive, and beautifully curated. The sculptures located throughout the grounds are placed magnificently, in order to... More

Situated near Vence, the Museum is partly in free air among trees and greens which gives you a fantastc impression of the sculptures. All significant modern artists like Picasso, Matisse, Dali, Leger are represented. The style recalls of Louisiana at Humlbæk in Denmark.

I did not know much about Christo, but what he did with barrels is amazing. And I love the serenity of Fondation Maeght, a fantastic place
