Art, nature and great views abound here. A quaint medieval town that remains a favorite of artists with views all the way to the Mediterraneum.

Nice hilltop village packed full of artisan shops and galleries. The biennial was on when we visited which meant there were many paintings and sculptures on show for free. Pretty, excellent views, but very touristy in August.

Not overly crowded, of course nothing but shops catering for tourists, but not in a tacky way. Pleasant walks and pleasant views. Plenty of water fountains to cool yourself down a bit and refill your bottles Parking Indigo is 5 mins from the city gate.

A lovely town to visit on a sunny day where you can walk the streets and admire the eclectic artwork that adorns the streets and galleries. Shops and restaurants mean you can spend several hours exploring, although it can get quite busy.

Amazingly beautiful picture perfect countryside village with cobbled streets and narrow lanes. Around hours drive from Nice.

Just up the hill from where we are staying this summer, and worth every step in the baking heat. Stunning village with great restaurants, fantastic galleries and boutiques and amazing ice cream xxx
