Paloma Beach
About
This pebble beach is tucked away on the northern side of St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, with the yachts of well-heeled residents dotting its pristine waters. Let waitstaff from the beach restaurant pamper you, delivering food and drink to your sunbed. Then, cool down with a dip—the calm surf is excellent for snorkeling. Parking is located at the main shopping area of the peninsula, and there’s a steep flight of stairs to conquer on your walk to the cove. As an alternative to driving, hop on a bus from Nice or admire Paloma from afar as part of a boat tour of the coast. – Tripadvisor

    Picturesque little beach
Very nice and safe, picturesque beach if a little crowded and pebbly. Worth spending a couple of hours. The only downside is port parking is a good 15 mins walk and you'd be lucky to find anything closer!

    Fantastic dinner
We ditched the craziness of Monte Carlo and ate at a Paloma Beach at the suggestion of our concierge. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the waters edge. We were not rushed and got to enjoy a beautiful dinner in a perfect setting. Our server was lovely and the food was great

    Paloma Beach
Nice quiet beach if you arrive by 9am. Lots of shade on the right side. Free public toilet, but no sink so bring hand gel. Supermarket a 15 minute walk away.

    Great beach and coast path
Found this as we walked from the town all along the coast path. Really nice walk close to the sea and lovely views. Beach was really quiet and even had lockers for your things while you’re swimming.

The view is indisputably fantastic, the beach and water quality are spectacular and offer some of the best snorkeling in the region. The beach club is unfortunately very disappointing. The menu is uninspired and menu items are not served as advertised (e.g. melon and raw ham was missing the ham; virgin colada was watered-down pineapple juice).

The shower, changing room and bathroom facilities are not up to par for this high price range. Other beach clubs in the region offer a much better experience at the same or lower prices. I would recommend visiting the public area of Paloma Beach and bringing your own mat and parasol for a more satisfying experience.

A yearly tradition for me and my wife, ruined by young waiter who treated me as if I didn’t count.
On July 11, 2022 At 12:45 I approached the entrance of the restaurant to inquire about a table for two as I’ve done for the last 11 years only to be responded by this young waiter with a curt “je ne sais pas”. I understood he’s overwhelmed with a busy restaurant so I let it pass. A few minutes later he sat a couple who came after me with no explanation. I protested and he repeated with a raised tone “je sais ríen”. The manager saw a potential situation and proceeded to sit me at a table.
The food was very good as always, the service was quite rushed as if they were more interested in turnover rather than clients well being.
I’m disappointed that this favorite place in Cap Ferrat has developed a fast food service methodology.

If you’re looking for bad service and bad people this is a place to go. Hospitality Doesn’t exist here! They wanna tell that you’re in private beach with a restaurant, if you get here and its closed ur done! They don’t allow the green food plus the service don’t care anything about you. They say they have bar service but what’s the point of having bar service without food. Personal is very very disrespectful they don’t pay attention to what you ask and they look at you bad in anyway. I guess just for locals!

Staff deliberately tried to over charge us. I would have called this a one off but it happened exactly the same last year. They don’t print the bill and call out the total….. dreadful when they try to rob you having spent sooo much on a sun lounger (50 euro each) and food is average for the price.

I arrived to Nice earlier this week and called the phone number listed on the Paloma Beach website to make a reservation for two lounge chairs. The Paloma Beach employee took down my name, phone number, party size, and expected date and time of arrival. The day of my reservation, I arrive to Paloma Beach and the front desk staff say that my reservation is nowhere to be found. She said all the chairs had been booked a month in advance and that I should have received a confirmation text. I confirmed on their seat map that my name, or a derivative of it, was not listed. The employee I spoke to on the phone did not confirm my reservation nor inform me that all of the chairs were already reserved for the day I planned on going. I would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time rather than after taking an expensive taxi to St. Jean Cap Ferrat. I should have heeded to the bad reviews that describe the service as abysmal.

Crowded and overpriced. It is supposed to be 100€ for 1st row and you get 40€ worth of food. We were 2 people and ate for less than 40€ each but somewhow we ended up payimg 250€ and the waiter was like how would you like to pay tips. How rude

Glad we got to experience this famous and beautiful beach - full of interesting people and with a gorgeous view. We parked in the main parking of St Jean Cap Ferrat where the shopping area is, but really had to hustle for a parking spot in the height of summer. The walk is about 10 minutes up to the beach, which have showers and public toilets. The Casino shop in the parking lot is great to stock up on picnic or forgotten beach items. Take extra care of the rocks AND sea urchins. My daughter stepped on one and got 9 spines stuck in her heel. There is first aid at the Paloma cafe but it's very basic.
