Came here mid December. It's pretty but almost everything is closed, I mean everything. I think there was one restaurant open. Disappointing. This could be so much more.

En route to St Tropez we visited this place and found it to be very picturesque. The weather was circa 23deg and sunny and was fairly quiet although in peak summer the queues are said to be horrendous. If going to St Tropez, definitely worth...More

Decided to visit this delightful, unexpected place today. It is a small town based on Venice and has lots of little, tiny bridges. Some lovely shops and restaurants to visit too. There is ample parking opposite the village, it is Pay to Park. We also...More

The little Venice is well named and very attractive. Shops are clean and tidy but on the pricey side as you must expect in this area. If you can get information on the history of this place it may disappoint as it is very modern.

Port Grimaud was created in 1966 and is very picturesque. It consists of canals, a beach, shops, restaurants and a church. There is a market in the village twice a week.

Port Grimed is a place where you can have a home and your boat is parked in front of it. Each house is different and there are lovely beaches. This place is like Venice so you can tour by boat. There are many shops and...More

Visited for half a day. Lovely place to walk round. Took a 30 minute boat trip to have a look around. There was a street market (Thursday). Well worth a visit.

Need transportation from Avignon Port, France to Nice (20 Replies)
We just found out that our transfers with our cruise line is a mess. We planned to arrive a day earlier in Lyon, spend the night and were planning to meet the transfer company person at the Lyon airport the next day when our cruise actually begins. We were concerned about weather (end of April), connections, or possible mechanical problems that might make us late flying from USA-London-Lyon. Now, we find out that we cannot use our paid transfers because we are already in Lyon and out of the...More

Normandy D-Day Tour from Cruise Ship in Le Havre in August (1 Replies)
My husband and I will be on Celebrity Silhouette Cruise on August 8-22, 2015. We would like to do a Normandy D-Day Tour while in the Le Havre port, France on August 10th. We would prefer a small group tour of about 8 in a mini-van. Any suggestions of good tours are welcome. How can we contact others from our ship to accompany us on this tour? Since we only have one day, we would like to see as much as possible. Thanks!

There's list of guides in a top question in the normandy section. To find others, look at cruise critic. They have sections by cruise to fund like minded fellow travelers.
