Chapelle de la Misericorde is a beautiful Gothic church constructed since 1747 at the former salt warehouse site. The external facade of which is beautiful and It has been declared as a historical monument in 1921. It is located in the Old Town of Nice near to the open market

Go and see and imagine. The fade colors are proof of a once very nicely and richly decorated little church in the heart of old town nizza. a moment of tranquil reflection in an otherwise busy city (especially in summer). a nice little hideaway.

I would have loved to visit this church as it is very beautiful building on the outside and glimpses through open windows give a tantalizing flavour of the treasures inside. I hope to see inside when we next visit Nice.
