Most European towns have them so obviously there is a demand for riding these small trains around town but my guess is that rather than looking like an idot in a small choo choo train take a walk instead. You will see more and get...More

Be aware that the little train of Nice no longer goes up the hill to the old castle where there is the wonderful and iconic viewing point.😫 This used to be, one of the must-do-things-to-do in Nice! Despite still saying on it's website that it...More

I did the same trip last year when the train did go to the castle as now it doesn't. It does go to different areas than last year and is excellent for a brief overview of Nice for €10 per person

The train goes around the town in less than an hour. I did enjoy it. You could see the promenade, harbour, library, park etc.

We ended our day in Nice with a trip with this train. We had planed to take the 16.00 train but it was canceled even though the sign said it would run as we wanted to go up the Mountain, jump of and look at...More

Forget about going up to Castle Hill for a stop. This is a non stop trip through regular traffic and a short sejour through Old Town. The reason being that the train is now electric. This also means that the tour is shortened by a...More

We arrived at the first stop on Promenade Des Anglais at 9.45am for the 10am train...which didn’t arrive. I checked the website: ‘En traveux’. Called their phone number, heard a standard automated message. Waited around until 10.35am, still no train. It’s fine if the train...More

I was a little disappointed by the tour. The only stop was at the top of Castle Hill. Its route did include Old Town Nice, but I couldn't digest the significance of what I was seeing. The Le Petit Train de Cannes seemed better, perhaps...More

I highly recommend Le Petit Train. It can expose you to Nice, beyond the typical Promenade des Anglais. It gives you an introduction into the Old Town. Additionally, it will take you to the top of the Castle Hill, for a spectacular view of the...More

We took the train up to the top of castle hill, the train went through Vieux Nice and along the main promenade. It enabled us to enjoy views if the city and out over the Cote D'Azure whilst learning about the history of the area...More

Sorry for the delay. There is a short break at the castle for photos and a snack shop if you wish. From there it comes down the hill and winds around the Promenade coming into the old city from the other side to eventually... More

Sorry for the delay I didn’t see the inquiry. As you walk down the street with all the restaurants toward the old city you get to a cross street with electric street cars. Make a right toward the old town and there is a... More

Good morning Jackie, along the front there is a McDonalds with a large park entrance next door. The train pulls in there and you buy the tickets from the driver or, if I remember correctly a separate person turns up just to... More
