First off let’s start with Ivette, our guide. She sealed the five stars with her calm reassurance, attentiveness, and low key management whilst at the same time being a lovely and interesting companion for the day. The organisation is great, from Gustav’s initial communication to his greeting in the shop and even the arrangement with the patisserie around the corner is far from what your initial cynicism suspects (or is that just me?). The cycling there was fairly hard going, even with the power assistance, although the 30+ heat did have a bearing on that. Stating the obvious, coming down is a lot easier.....and exhilarating. The tour around the vineyard is informative and informal and makes you fully appreciate why you pay a premium for a quality wine. That said, the four varieties produced at the winery are reasonably priced and hopefully taste as good back home as they did while eating lunch and fresh figs from the tree (once Ivette showed me where they were). A memorable day that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone capable of riding a bike.…

I can highly recommend this trip to everyone who visits Nice with an interest for wine. We started the trip in the old town and went by e-bike to a lovely vineyard in the hills behind the city. Our tourguide Ivette was great. Skillful, both when it comes to wine knowledge but also to the guiding during the trip up to the vineyard. When we were up at the vineyard we enjoyed tasting different wines, and listen to the owner of the vineyard as he told us about the whole winemaking process. This is a trip I can highly recommend either if you travel alone or with others. A great way to get a taste of Côte d'Azur. …

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One of the best days of our trip. If you love food and wine, and really want an authentic experience this was great. Our tour guide (I believe her name was Ally- don’t remember as it was a year ago) was amazing, so informative and kind. We got to venture out to different areas and try all types of niçoise specialities. Would do it again if I could!…

Review of: Nice City Bike Tour with a Local Guide
The 3 hour tour of Nice riding to Castle Hill guided by Ivette was the highlight of our visit to Nice. The bike tour is a great way to get an overview of neighborhoods and historic sites in the city. Ivette professionally guided and supported our group on the tour. The ride up Castle Hill is a bit steep but we stopped 3 times to take in the view and learn about historic points along the way. My husband had a hip replacement in December, we did not upgrade to an e-bike and we made it without a problem. The view is worth the ride up and of course the ride down was awesome! Ivette provided a list of restaurants and eateries to visit. We followed her advice on a few; they did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Nice City Bike tour!…

Marzia gave a great tour of the Old Town of Nice. Really cool places that she picked and the owners of each spot talked with you and were very cool. Would probably do another tour if we go back. Thanks!
