Cosy and small outdoor market
Jul 2019
This is a rather small outdoor market of about 2 rows of stalls with plenty of flowers. fruits, vegetables, breads, cheeses, olives and local produce. I bought a packet of peonies back to our AirBnB and it was lovely. We went back again to buy some cheeses to bring home. Lovely experience as i simply love fresh product market.

This market was the absolute cutest! We went in the morning and it was bustling with activity. The locals were really friendly and had products ranging from local produce to beautiful paintings of Nice!

Really fun browsing and delicious food!

We loved going around to the different stalls and looking at art, trinkets, and fresh produce! It was beautiful and we bought some treats to go have a picnic later. Highly recommend.

Scents, color and food
Jun 2019
Very agitated street during market hours, full of tourists, it is even advised to be aware of pick-pockets; I was roughly at 11 am on a Saturday, and it was crowded, but I have to say that the space to walk through the market was narrow. Main items for sale are colorful flowers, highly scented Marseille soaps, fruits, peanuts and other delicacies. All products looked good. I finally bought the Marseille soaps as souvenirs for relatives and myself. Several restaurants are found on both sides of the street.

Loved browsing around the market

The market was everything I could’ve wanted and more! They had such great produce and fruits that I wish I lived there. There were multiple flower and soap stands and souvenirs on every corner. I had a great time browsing the stalls and spent more time here than I thought I needed!

Get up early to find the best produce
Jan 2020
When in France…don’t miss the Saturday market. The Cours Saleya market in Nice is particularly charming because of the fabulous Provencal flowers on sale. Get there early and rub shoulders with the restaurateurs who are stocking up for the weekend. And, if you’re a visitor, pack with enough space to take home some cheese and charcuterie in your carry-on.

Fantastic market - go there
Feb 2020 • Friends
Really good market, lots of food stalls to try some Street food from. We got the chick pea pancake which is a speciality of the region apparently and some sweet treats. All tasty and reasonably priced.

If you do go during the winter months all the reviews I had read said the market was an early thing, so I went down at seven hoping for the best however the market was still very much in the setting up phase. Went back at half eight and it was just getting into the swing of it. Not sure if summer months are and earlier start but winter months are definitely not.

However if you can get to the market do, it's lovely just to walk around and I would definitely recommend.

A lovely atmosphere and good place to find things to take back home as a reminder of the Mediterranean vibes in Nice. Also a great place to grab some bitings such as olives, sundried tomatoes and fresh fish. Lots of places around to have a drink in between too.

A famous open-air market
Aug 2019
A famous open-air market a few steps away from the beach in Nice.
The market is split between its famous flower market selling bucketfuls of blooms on the western side and a food market brimming with spices, produce, pastries, and more on the eastern side.
The food stalls are just as enticing as the flowers.
It can get really crowded in high season, so if you do want to go in summer, best to get there early. It’s a great place to people-watch, while having a coffee from one of the surrounding bars and cafes.

Beautiful Displays and Tasty Treats
Sep 2019
Again, we walked through hre most days at least once. We saw the Monday flea market and the flower and produce markets on several days. A great place to stroll, window shop or to pick up souvenirs
