While staying in Nice we wanted to see some of the small villages nearby. We arranged for a private tour and asked to see Eze and St. Paul de Vence. Magdalena (our guide) met us at our hotel with a clean and modern van. We discussed the itinerary and she quickly made some suggestions to make it extra special and fit in a few extra stops. The route she took allowed for the the best scenery and amazing photo stops — all while getting to our destinations quickly. When walking the villages Magdalena knew special places to see (often away from the crowds) history, answered questions and showed us lovely viewing points. We didn’t want to waste time eating in a restaurant so she suggested a lovely bakery where we picked up sandwiches, incredible pastries and drinks and then she took us to the most beautiful garden (near a gorge, River, waterfall and stunning mountains!) to enjoy our food. She also found time to squeeze in a visit to a fabulous candy shop (she did a tour for us along with samples) and to visit Antibes (including a walking tour, fascinating stops, hidden gems and wonderful history). We do a lot of tours and this one is definitely in our top ten! It is rare to find a guide who is so knowledgeable, passionate and lovely to be with! A wonderful day in the south of France!

We spent a few days in the Côte d’Azur and had a pre-arranged private tour scheduled. Little did we know there would be a "red warning" AKA flood watch due to big thunderstorms.
Thalis was our guide and communicated exceptionally to give us the option to modify our tour, cancel it, or move the times around. We decided to move the time and while the majority of planned excursion didn't happen because the majority of the sites were closed, we made the best of it.
Thalis made it fun, showed us what she could, did an excellent tour of Eze describing the history, happily took photos of us, pointed out hidden treasures that were still open, and did it with a smile.
We got to see Eze in a different way due to the storm, but that was okay as it wasn't as crowded as a result and we could take our time to stop where we wanted to and dig into the history.
Thalis drove us back to our hotel, let us drop our goods off, and took us to Nice where she went out of her way to find a delicious spot to have lunch, escorted us there and made sure we were set up with a great table.
We got an unexpected walking tour of Nice as she escorted us to the restaurant and made sure we were taken care of.
It could've been a horrible day, instead, Thalis turned lemons into lemonade while ensuring we had a great day regardless of the weather.

My husband and I enjoyed two tours with Magdalena at the end of June and had a great time! Our first tour was to Provence, where we saw lavender, a medieval/Renaissance castle, and a charming village. The second tour took us to Nice and Monaco where Magdalena gave us some fun insider knowledge about both areas. Her English was great, and we loved discussing our cultures with each other.
I managed to break my foot shortly before our trip, and Magdalena went above and beyond to accommodate my injury in our tours, which was no easy feat in these locations. She was also a very good and safe driver and an overall joy to spend two wonderful days with.

We just came back from a dream trip to Côte d’Azur. Our group of 6 used A la Francaise for 4 of our 5 days in the region. Magdalena, our sweet driver and guide, was wonderful. She is patient and kind, gave us great recommendations (including an awesome restaurant in Nice, Comptoir Du Marché), and always had good disposition. The van was clean and comfortable and had enough space for all of us. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you Magdalena!

Thalis is a lovely tour guide who gave us a lot of history and details of Antibes and St. Paul de Vence. Due to film festival we skipped Cannes but truly enjoyed our comfortable tour all afternoon. Well worth the time, thank you!!

My husband and I went from Nice to Saint Tropez and then a stop in Antibes with Thallis. Thallis explained the history of Saint Tropez including films made there. We ate lunch at Senequier, the famous cafe near the docks which has been featured in films. It was very fun. We stopped in Antibes on our way back to Nice. Thallis explained the history of the city and its current status as the largest non- industrial/leisure port in Europe. We walked in the old city and saw the outside of the Picasso Museum and artworks around the port. The bocce ball club was having a tournament near the port. It was a very satisfying day.

We went with Thallis from Nice to Grasse to Cannes. We had a lively day and she showed us Grasse and the Fragonard Parfumeur located in Grasse. The museum of the parfumeur was fascinating. We walked some streets in Grasse which was lovely. We went to see Cannes which was quite a contrast from from the small city charm of Grasse. We walked by the sea and saw the fancy hotels, high end shopping and where the stars walk the red carpet. It was exciting to see all these things. The day was lovely and drive was beautiful also.

Harmonie did an amazing job of walking us through old nice and providing a fun mix of history facts and food recommendations! It was raining the day we weren’t but it was still an amazing tour! It felt like we were walking with a local friend and it helps us find out way through out of trip!
