Walking across this park is a pleasure at any time of the day. It is very well kept and made more interesting by elaborate installations for children, reminding of fossils of prehistoric animals, though the loveliest part of it is definitely the Miroir d'Eau, a true joy for little and big ones in the summertime! It is a very well-maintained public space that is quite well isolated from the nearby traffic (the worst part of an otherwise flawless city centre) and shows dedication to both the population and the visotors, at least in terms of recreational times. Aso well-equipped with toilets, shade and fountains, and a five.minute walk to the beach.

This is a very lovely park right off Place Massena. It contains lots of lovely blooms interspersed with artificial turf and shrubbery. There is a "weird" sculpture of a very large metal arc commemorating the naming of the city of Nice. The park itself is a most pleasant place to stroll.

This is a great place to go on Sunday afternoons, to listen to the free oopen air concerts given by L'Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Ville de Nice, at 3pm. The orchestra performs on the bandstand, and ample seating is provided for the audience beforehand. The programmes are classical, but usually fairly light and popular pieces. With the promenade des Anglais providing the backdrop, this is a great way to spend an hour on a Sunday, preferably after a good lunch at a nearby restaurant. During the winter months these concerts are performed indoors at L'Eglise Notre-Dame du Port, on the Place de Beaute, at the port. To get there, take the tram to Place Garibaldi, and then walk down to the port via rue Cassini.

Highly recommended to visit, especially during hot summer days. It is possible to walk through fountains, which is very refreshing, to relax under beautiful trees on the grass or just to walk through the park and enjoy the magnificent views!

I enjoyed a peaceful walk in this park after my fun food tour! It was a lovely sunny day and the park gave me a simply great excuse to chill a bit!

Nice and peacful place to hang around. Much local people spend time, have picnic or just hanging. Lots of sit places, not many public toilets.

The Jardin Albert 1er is a public park between Place Massena and Promenade des Anglais. It is a nice spot to just chill or take a break. There is a large water fountain area where children can play. There is also a number of bus stops across from the park. The bus 200 going into Cannes can be taken just outside the park. If you need directions, i believe there is a Tourism Office at the park.

We stopped at this park with our children when in Nice. Great play equipment, clean toilets, water bubbler and beautiful fountains that the kids can run under to cool down
