This cathedral is set in the old town and is a wonderful example of a baroque style . The colours, the chandeliers, the smell of incense make it magic.

Worth a stop to see the pretty architecture. It is located in one of the main squares in Vieille ville so it is easy to find

It is in the center of the city and even if looks small from outside is impressive on the inside. Nice trimings, beautiful decorated.

Reading the history of Ste. Raparate before visiting this cathedral makes the visit that much more interesting. I stumbled upon this church walking through the old town of Nice, and wouldn't have even noticed it if the doors hadn't been open. Wow - a beautifully ornate church that seems to be bigger on the inside than the outside is what... More

The Cathedral is a lovely building with some beautiful artworks. It is much smaller than some of the grander European cathedrals I have been in but still worth a visit. Entry is free.

Situated in the heart of Old Nice, this holy place epitomizes quaint, beautiful and serene. It appears to be open and accessible to the public from dawn to dusk, welcoming all who choose to enter. Ornate with gold trimmings, yet simple as a house of worship, it is a must see to truly appreciate and begin to understand Nice.

Very nice architecture and wonderful decorations, many statues and icons. One of the many cathedrals showing "la porte misericorde" for this "annee sainte". Quiet inside for reflection and outside you can have a coffee in one of the bistros.

A beautifully decorated and atmospheric church tucked into the narrow streets. A picturesque stop on your treks through the old town.

In the old city of Nice, you will find a number of 17th century churches. They have been decorated in a quite specific way. The Cathedral is amongst them. Renovation has just been finalized and all painting and sculpture have been brought back to a new life. it is as if the cathedral had just been built and decorated.
