You will be blown away by the large format paintings at the Chagall Museum. Also, the stained glass story filling the entire side of the auditorium is breath taking. This museum is not to be missed during your stay in Nice!

Located in a nice neighborhood, the museum gives good overview of the Chagall’s art. What was curious? Stained glass made by him and clavesine decorated by him in the hall. Nice little park outside to have a cup of coffee.

Incredible display of art. It is displayed in a building I believe was designed by the artist. Huge paintings on display that you can really get close to which I enjoy.

Used the audio-tour to walk through the exhibit, which was a wonderful and specific exhibit of certain of Chagall's religious themed paintings.

I did not have much exposure to Chagall prior to this visit. This is a fantastic collection and is well worth a visit. I was blown away.

I just saw the building from outside the Hop-on/Hop-off bus. But it was closed on tuesdays, so I sadly couldn‘t go inside.

This is Chagall at his mystical best. Chagall's images bring the Old Testament's tales to life with a magnificent vibrance. These splendid, massive oils were meant to be shown as a set, and collectively they bath the museum in the light of age old myth...More

Definitely worth a visit. I only subtracted a star because I would have liked to see a greater range of his paintings. However, this series of religious paintings is beautifully presented. It is worth pointing out that the documentary film of Chagall’s life comes in...More

It is a beautiful museum a bit further from the center of the Town, but it is really worth your time and a good opportunity to escape from crowded areas and streets, to wonder around beautiful buildings and trees. The museum is in a quiet...More

Well worth the walk out of town even on a warm good Friday. The building is a finely executed piece of cool modernism which shows off the works to very good effect. The religious theme of most of the works was particularly appropriate, including wonderful...More

No. The cafe at the Chagall museum is very pleasant. You can walk from one to the other but if you see my review of the Matisse museum you won't waste your time. Chagall is between 1 1/2 and 2 hours.
