This museum has been part of our annual trip to the riviera. They host the largest collection of Chagall's works. I am a great fan of Marc Chagall and my love for his works deepened with numerous visits to the Palais Garnier. I just love to stare at that gorgeous ceiling painted by Chagall since my 20s. I never ever... More

This museum is not only a collection of Marc Chagall's artistic production, but in my opinion it is also a wonderful historic, anthropological, philosophical and overall human retrospective. By looking at the paintings, I could see the vibrant and colourful brush of this master of the twentieth century: he gives life to the history of the Jewish people, from the... More

I personally dont like so much art, I visited this place because my girlfriend is very fond of it. Well I really liked it. For european students the entrance is free and the audio-guide, which I recommend, costs only 2 euros. The museum is not big, but the pieces exhibited are very beatiful to see and the audio-guide explanations are... More

Not my favorite painter, but if you are a fan, there is plenty there about his life and art. a bit tricky to park the car.

If you have time to visit this museum I certainly believe it's well worth it. Chagall illustrates Old Testament literature in the context of the suffering Jewish people as well as events in his own life in such an interesting way! Be sure to get the audio guides as well!

The life & works of Chagall are a delight & the museum deserves some form of ' navette' service from the city centre, since parking is not easy to find ( there is no serious parking area for the museum). The outdoor cafe is not at the level of such a high level activity - its probably leased out but... More

Not only the museum is all about Chagall he even worked closely with the building's architect. You can feel his footsteps in every room. He has selected each wall to show each of his paintings. Definitely the highlight of our trip to the South of France.

Great way to break a vacation of beach and sunshine. We went with our four teenagers and we really enjoyed the place. The building and its surroundings incredible and the exposition of paintings in abundance by Chagall, breathtaking. You can top it with a glass of rose u orangina al fresco. Great

I didn't know the work of Chagall that well. I do now and love it. Very informative, cool and relaxed surrounding with an excellent auditorium for films. Excellent cafe too.
