It was easy to catch the tram and Bus 4 to go to the recently renovated Russian Cathedral past the train station. It was very impressive from the outside but stirring inside. I was there during a service so I found a little bench off...More

This beautiful Russian Orthodox Church built in memory of his son Nicholas by Tsar Alexander 11 is well worth visiting. It gives visitors to see what a typical Russian Church looks like, it is so well maintained and very welcoming.

Just reopened after extensive refurbishment the Russian Cathedral is very pretty from the outside but unfortunately not that interesting inside. If you happen to pass by go in but not worth an extra effort to go there.

This building is amazing. Inside and out. I'm not religious but then I don't think you need to be to appreciate it. It's free to enter with a donation box to help with the restoration. We sat In the garden for ages just looking.

Just a peaceful place to visit. You're not supposed to take pictures inside but I just couldn't help myself! You can buy a candle for prayer and lighting. They have a few religious items for purchase as well.

I have seen many people in a wheel chair around this area so I would say yes it is possible. Be aware of busier times for crowded space throughout the flower market on the earlier part of the day.

The train is much better - you will reach Nice in 30-40 mins I think, there is sometimes quite a lot of traffic on the corniche roads so better to avoid that. If you like walking, the old town can be completely covered on... More
