It’s a “must” do the same way one would do 5th Avenue in NY. You do it to see some of the palaces and exotic cars but there isn’t much to it.

Lovely for a walk and people watching. It can be busy and is open to the hot sun so take water and sun cream. Well worth a walk to the harbour.

Whatever time of day you visit there is always something going on of interest- nice wide space leading to the beach-probably walking at dusk is our favourite - very busy in August though but just very pleasant

Such a beautiful place for walking, running, all along the beachside. Every night everybody goes there, many restaurants and bars and during the day many beach clubs offer sunbeds and umbrellas. There are public beaches as well. Everybody is happy there!!!

Early morning run on the Mediterranean is just magical here. Everything is geared for people on foot or bicycle... bring your sneakers to Nice and bathing suit if you are there closer to summer...
