Best pizza in Nice !
Friendly and fast service, fresh ingredients
excellent crispy crust and custom made selection welcome. Have a glass of rosé as you wait, or run an errand across the way at the huge Carrefour, or grab a newspaper at Michel’s next door. Eat in or take your pizza a thousand steps down behind Casa pizza and watch the sun go down over Nice, where locals are diving and swimming from the cliffs. Perfect pizza
every time ; enjoy !

I absolutely gorgeous view of the Nice coastline set amidst lush properties and bird filled forest. A welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city itself. We rented an Airbnb and although we were far from the beach, the peace that this location afforded made it well worth it. The real bonus is that while it feels rural, it is within minutes of both old town Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Mont Boron is a hill in Nice, 191m high. It is considered a privileged area of the city: here are the villas of wealthy citizens. At the top of the hill there is a park where locals jog and come for picnics. From the top of the hill there is a magnificent panorama of the port of Nice, and on the other side of Cap Ferrat.

We climbed up here from Nice port end, lots and lots of steps, not the most pleasant of walks but it is well worth it when you get to the top. Stunning views,
Take water and there are no toilets or facilities at the top.
Would recommend - the viewpoint is a hidden gem of Nice

Mont Boron is NOT to be confused with Castle Hill which is on the opposite (West) side of Nice port. Mt Boron offers better panoramic views over Promenade des Anglais than from Castle Hill, and also great views looking East over the Bay of Villefranche, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Cap Ferrat and further East towards Eze. There is nowhere to buy anything to drink or eat so at least take your own water (especially in Summer) if you intend to spend any time up there. There are plenty of benches and so great for a picnic overlooking the sea but better still, if you can cope, is the "Tour de Mont Boron" circular walk which takes around 2.5 hours starting from sea level close to the "La Reserve" restaurant on Boulevard Franck Pilatte. It does include climbing 335 steps but that makes for a good combination of exercise, refreshing sea air, and the opportunity to walk between some beautifully designed and built residences to add to the great views when you arrive at the top. Take your swimming gear with you and have a cooling sea dip when you return to the "start". You'll deserve it.

I took the number 14 bus to the end of the line which is the top of Mt. Boron. From there - back track towards the sea and you will find a little trail head. You can follow this around towards Villefranche Sur Mer. I used Google map to GPS where i was on the map. It’s a nice hike with some benches to sit on a relax with views. Drop into Villefranche which is a lovely little town to wander around. Have a drink or lunch by the harbor. Then take a bus or the train back to Nice. The hike from Mt. Boron to Villefranche was only about 45 minutes and is downhill all the way. Almost no signs so Googlel maps was quite handy to know where I was. It will show you the trails available.

We took the number 14 bus from the centre of Nice which terminates at the top of Mont Boron. There is a noticeboard with a map to help you get your bearings although none of the paths seemed to be particularly well marked. The views are amazing, from the whole of Nice on one side to Villefranche sur Mer on the other. You can walk through the forest or along the road to the fort. For your return, you can catch the number 14 bus from a number of stops on the hilltop or for the adventurous, you could follow the path down to Villefranche sur Mer below.

I took the no. 14 bus from Alberti stop to the top of Mt. Boron to save my feet and walked back down through the forest walk and ended out by the coastal walk which I then walked...splendid

Mount Boron is nearly 200 meters high and has 2 main sites, the Chateau de l’ Anglais as well as Grotto Lazaret. While on the top you will have an amazing view of Nice. If you have time, then its worth going.
I have taken the hop on hop of bus, which has taken us up there.

Bonjour, j'envisage louer une vila directement sur le Mont Boron et je me demandais si le bruit des avions était dérangeant ??? Le Mont semble en ligne directe avec l'aéroport de Nice.
Merci
