We were so lucky to had a tour for ourselves with the best Tourguide Ocean!!:) She was really nice and funny, took a lot of photos of us und was really patient and polite! We learned to drive the Segway in seconds and were so impressed that we extended our tour to two hours! We booked a 3 hour Segway tour around Nice. Gianni was our very cool guide and re-acquainted us with their Segways. Of course the little Segway dance was completed and we showed our age as we are 60+. But a few minutes and Gianni had us good to go. We went from the Promenade all the way around the waterfront to Villefranche sur Mer and back over the hill through the wealthy suburbs and back to base. We took 30+ minutes to explore the tunnels in the fortress walls in Villefranche sur Mer which were amazing dating back over 400 years and then had a relaxing coffee on and the waterfront. The Segways have 2 speeds, in a crowd and on road which Gianni sets depending on location. Plenty of power and very quick on the road. Gianni was an excellent guide and would highly recommend him and his company he guides for.

We rented 3 scooters for 2 hours at a cost of €20 each. We were told it would do 20km and told we could go all the way along the board walk in Nice and back as it was approximately 7 km long. Unfortunately one of the scooters ran out of charge after just over 13 km and my husband had to walk back. My husband is very muscular and weighs more than normal however there didn’t appear to be a weight limit and they recommended the trip along the board walk in the shop ( even seeing my husband). My husband had to walk the scooter back in over 30 degree heat. ( They asked us why we didn’t ring them - to be honest I didn’t think about it - and only offered us more of their services at a reduced rate. They didn’t offer us any of the money back even though the scooter only operated for three quarters of the allotted time). The scooters are quite fun but costumer service is not good.
