Well worth the view to drive the winding roads into the hills above Frejus! There are also hiking trails up to the summit. Lots of free parking too.

There is a road to 3/4 way up. we went on a very wet day, but the views and clouds and rain made it even more atmospheric. I guess it would be a lovely place for walks in the spring or autumn.

If you don't mind walking for an hour or so - this is a place you must visit! Easiest acccess from DN7 direction Cannes. Look for sign "Malpey" to the right. Park immediately or continue on the small road until you see the car park....More

Depending on the route the ascent requires sturdy shoes, but is not that challenging. The view is great (on a good day you can see the alps).
