We enjoy this water park and go every year when we are on holiday in Frejus although it is looking more and more dilapidated and feels increasingly unsafe. It is quite extraordinary that in all the years we have been going, management seems to have made absolutely no effort to address the queues inside the park or the ridiculous scrum to get in when the park opens in the morning. There is no queue management at the entry to the park and no staff outside to control behaviour. Consequently, the majority of people wait in a polite and orderly manner only to find that at the last minute herds of people simply walk up to the front and push in. In fact, there does not seem to be a single rule in the park that people don't break (running, queuing, eating) so in the spirit of the locals I suggest you ignore the signs banning picnics and take your own food in so as to avoid the awful and overpriced meals they try to sell - everyone else does!

We visited Aqualand in late August and had an amazing time. There were very few queues for the slides, whereas last year we went in mid-August and spent a long time standing in queues. The slides are quite varied, there are some individual slides and some where you go down in pairs on an inflatable raft. We brought our own picnic, there are picnic tables set up in the shade. The food there is overpriced and limited to fast food. There a good water play areas for young children.

This was our second trip to this water park and it's still a good day out. Its clean and tidy and well maintained. We didn't eat here (took a picnic) other than ice creams but it looked typically expensive. The bigger rides had some queues (up to an hour) but it was bearable and there is provision for shading you from the sun. Our youngest party member was 7yrs and 135cm tall and she could get on all the rides.

The Aqualand is supposed to be a great place for kids. Unfortunately it needs renovation and nice staff. There's not a lot to do for kids below 4 years. Some slides are very dangerous and the entrance fees are high.

We had a great day at Aqualand. We had read the reviews so were prepared for the crowds and queues. Fortunately, neither were as bad as we were expecting. The queueing system to get into the park was poorly organised, which led to 2 queues merging into 1, meaning there was a bit of pushing in. Apart from this, however, the rest of the queues were fairly organised and orderly. We bought our own food, which is definitely recommended as the food was over priced and the queues enormous. We bought fast passes for the 2 children, which helped as they got to go on lots more rides than they would have done otherwise. We found the park pleasant, clean and there was plenty of rides to enjoy. Overall it was a good day but would recommend following the advice re taking own food and fast passes. Also, get tickets in advance. These must be printed.
