I can't quite believe that the authorities allow this zoo to remain open. The chimpanzee was distressed, the llama had a serious eye infection, birds so distressed their feathers fall out, the poor elephant rocking backwards and forwards with mental health issues, primates fighting each other and enclosures all completely neglected. Please close down and regime the animals or invest... More

Our toddler loved it, but the whole area seems a bit shabby and not so well kept. There are a variety of animals which is impressive - white tigers, lions, hippo, different monkeys etc etc, but we questioned the conditions and health of some of the animals. Especially the hippo seemed sick.

Several cages are empty, animals don't seem properly cared for. The overall impression is not good as if money was missing for a zoo of this side.

I didn't look this place up on here before visiting, but once there, I thought I had to post a review. The zoo is, by UK standards, terrible. The enclosures are really small, the whole place looks unloved, the animals are probably technically OK, but have little to do and little space to do it. One of the Lions was... More

Never again am I going there. It was in winter and the animals were unkempt and listless and looked really unhappy.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor we were put off by going here but faced with a grey overcast day and two small children to entertain we decided to give it a go. The selection of animals was good but it did feel very "rustic" and that it could do with a bit of a refurb. The paths and tracks... More

This zoo was a bit disappointing but was fine to pass the afternoon. As it was very warm day most animals were not surprisingly either inside out of the heat or lying sleeping. There seemed to be more sheep and goats than anything else which wasn't the most exciting. It is quite run down but again fine for a day... More

Living on the Côte d'Azur and being a mother of 4 daughters and a grandchild, thus is a place I gave visited often. Nice and clean, lots of cheap snack bars. You drive round in your car, so good even if the weather isn't.

The weather wasn't great so we thought we'd visit the zoo. I was dreading it somewhat after reading some of the reviews on here, and maybe because my expectations had been lowered somewhat, I thought that it was actually a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. The children were happy to watch the elephants being fed, the tigers... More

This is not a great zoo. It may have been 30 years ago but it is not now. It is very barren between animal enclosures, there are no shows, and generally it is a strip down bare bones zoo. However. After the hustle and bustle of the busy south of France it was very quiet. My kids of 7 and... More
