We drove around this gorge and found the views stunning. We found Tourettes a very attractive town en route.

Kind of average. Hard to see the Loup and there are few stopping places where you are not risking your life to stop. Loved the villages, especially Gourdon.

A day of walking and driveing between a few points in the gorges de loup. (not enough we had to plan more... next time ) There is just so much to see and do. So beautiful, so stunning, so blue, so green and amazing turquoise waters. Water are not to cold in the summer, and a few walk are recommended... More

This is an amazing place to visit. the views are fantastic and benefits from a Mediterranean climate. It is easy to get to but beware if you have car sickness as the roads are very windy. It is a wonderful area to visit and so close to the Riviera towns. A train can be taken from Grasse to Nice and... More

Beautiful Gorges (Canyon). Really worth the detour, only 20 minutes from Grasse. Makes sure you go up to the village on top of the mountain to get a view of the Valley.

Bloomin' love this place! I mean, it's no Grand Canyon but it's still stunning! I've done both hiking and white water rafting here whilst also driving the length of the Gorge and enjoyed every bit of it! If you find yourself in the Cote d'Azur and have grown tired of the obvious touristy things like Monaco with the crowds of... More

I recently visited the Gorge on a day trip from Nice. We were hesitant at first as have seen many people mention it's not doable without a car but proved to be quite easy using the train and buses. The town of Grasse itself was absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit in itself, and the gorge was simply stunning!... More

Well worth the drive and fighting through the mist and the rain, only to have great vistas and views from the top. The river was not in spate, so there was not much to see at the bottom. A great drive.

Close to my house in France, a lovely area, twisting roads but well worth the view, and wonderful if you want to escape the heat of the nearby villages and towns.
