Excellent free tour, quite informative and professional, our host was willing and able to answer questions from the group. The perfumes store at the end of the tour on the third level is supported by knowledgable staff at good prices.

The building consists of 3 floors 2 floors are taken up with the history of the perfume process. It was so interesting. There are so many models and objects to read about. When you reach the basement you are in a massive sales shop with all kinds of fragrances, soaps and presentation boxes. I doubt you will leave with nothing.

Not much information on the basics of perfume making - 75% of the property is given over to retail opportunities, to sell soap, perfume and other stuff.

Okay so this was not one of the things I expected to do on a holiday. But in fact I was blown away. Being an Alfa male I did not expect that I would enjoy this but in fact felt rather ashamed at my lack of knowledge of the history of perfume. I did really enjoy the experience an dam... More

Grasse is known as a major perfume center. Easily accessible as a day trip from Nice, it holds several working perfume workshops, including Parfumerie Fragonard. If you are sensitive to strong perfume and a lot of scents, avoid this tour! In fact, avoid this town! But if you are interested in learning about the history of perfume, how the natural... More

Fragonard owns Grasse .... or so it seems. Lots of slogans and billboards absolutely everywhere. When you drive around that's the only thing you see. Funny they call themselves "Fragonard Museum". It's basically a shop where you can buy perfumes. Well you can buy them anywhere around Cannes and probably anywhere else. There's actually a real Perfume Museum in Grasse... More

We waited 30 minutes for the English language tour and once it got started we wished we had spent that 30 minutes exploring the town of Grasse. Although the tour was free we learned very little about perfume is made and felt it was rushed in order to get us to the onsite perfume store. Unfortunately most of the fragrances... More

We visited Grasse especially to go to the Fragonard perfume factory shop. We visited them last year and were very impressed with the tour (which is really good and very interesting). Their perfume is difficult to get in the UK as they sell mainly in their own outlets (or online) so my two granddaughters and I needed to stock up... More

Genuinely friendly staff, interesting tour, shop is worth a visit for aesthetic value alone, no pressure to buy, although, products are excellent. Will return.
