€2 entry buys you a really wonderful and informative time in this fabulous museum focussed on Provence in general and Grasse in particular. We went in mid November and were completely alone. We’d been past in high summer and the place is mobbed. On 3...More

We enjoyed wandering the many rooms of the museum, which are well furnished to provide a glimpse into life in Provence during the past many centuries. We also enjoyed the surprise of Roman ruins on the lower level. Don't miss that part. Definitely recommended.

This is a lovely little free museum which tries hard and succeeds in giving you a flavour of life in Provence years ago. The staff are lovely and the views are great too

Everything you have ever wanted to know about...... faience pottery to toys, furniture, costumes and paintings. ... to evoke the past.. Its located in an 18th century mansion featuring archeology, ethnology and art history. In a town of perfumeries, this makes an interesting diversion.

A very nice collection of various everyday and special items from the past. From clothing to jewels to weaponery, it's all here. Also some acheological finds are displayed from a nearby site. Definitely worth a stop if in Grasse buying perfume or other Provencal gifts.
