So you might think that this review would be all about the car. Well, that was amazing and we spent a wonderful day driving the Corniche roads in a gorgeous Bentley Corniche convertible 1971. This review is about Nick who owns and runs Riviera Classic Car Hire... What a charming, helpful and genuinely nice man! His communication, despite being on holiday when I booked, was great but his attitude when we collected the car was what shone through. Surrounded by some of the world's most prestigious and rare cars, Nick's only concern was that we enjoyed ourselves. He reassured the kids that these shouldn't be treated as museum pieces but were hired to have fun in. We left the garage much more relaxed than we might otherwise have been and when we came back, Nick's first words were "So.. Tell me ALL about it!". Nick clearly loves his cars and has a passion to make sure that his clients take joy from them too. Thank you Nick!…

Wow! What a day! I hired the 1963 Mercedes 230sl to drive The Three Corniches. I told Nick I was planning to propose to my girlfriend during the day and he gave me some fantastic advice of restaurants with panoramic views that would suit such an occasion. The car was absolutely beautiful and along with Nick's advice, resulted in an amazing proposal (if I can say so myself)! Nick also sent over usefull advice on driving a classic car in advance of the day in case I had no experience of such cars. The driver that dropped the car off showed me how everything worked which was also very helpful. I would highly recommend! Thank you Nick! ... She said yes! …

Please be aware do not hire car from interent or gold car this is the same Spanish company the always try to upgrade your car and sell extra insurance even if you say you are fully covered they are rude and aggressive I stop using gold car but this time was interrent wicth is the same rubbish in was told they will refund the petrol that was left instead they took money from my card is send emails left messages and they never replied Please Please stay away wen you book a car hire make sure ito not gold car or interrent…

You have never hired a car from us the company you are referring to is Gold rental cars based at Nice airport I suggest you get your facts right before posting totally incorrect information about a totally different company with nothing to do with Gold or any other company

Nick was an absolute pleasure! he was a dream to work with, in hatching out a surprise birthday celebration, with no request too much. The car was wonderful to drive and the experience unforgettable, made every inch worth the money for the most fantastic weekend. We loved cruising around the coast line, with great tips from Nick on destinations and best routes. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and the loan of your beautiful Mercedes SL 230.
