About
Eze, the picturesque medieval village, is the home of our charming perfume museum. It reflects the nostalgia of the past with its magnificent antique perfume bottles, as well as the realistic or present state of the industry. You will go behind the scenes and discover the Perfumer's laboratory. As in Grasse, our shop offers the opportunity for visitors to buy our products at factory prices. Our establishment is open daily, including Sundays and Bank Holidays. Guided visits are available for groups or individuals, in all major European languages (and also in Russian and Chinese).

Great experience
Jun 2019 • Couples
I traveled to Nice with my wife for our honeymoon, and we went to the Galimard workshop in Grasse to make our own perfumes (the 2 hour course), and deciding we wanted more, we ended up applying for the same course but at a different Galimard shops - this time in Eze. We had the privilege of being coached by perfumer Irina Nesa, who hands down, was the most loveliest of teachers and a sheer delight to spend time with.
My wife and I each had our own organ where we chose the base, heart, and peak notes from the many bottles Irina recommended after listening to what sort of perfume we each wanted to make. For each stage, we were asked to choose the notes we like/dislike without looking at the labels on the bottles, which made the process a lot more fun/unbiased. We were also asked to assign personal imagery to each note we chose to use (e.g. the cuir note was for me "a camel” smell) which made the completed fragrance feel more personal, as well as helping Irina understand our subjective perceptions of each note. Irina gave us abundant opportunities to adjust the concoction (I would say, like, "can I add some more camel?") and she was very accommodating of any changes we asked for. Not only that, she went out of her way to teach us about musks, about myrrh, about other related things which we both found fun and insightful. You could tell that she genuinely loves “smells”, not just the nice, fragrant smells you normally find in perfumes, but other smells in general, like the smell of asphalt after rain, and sharing that passion, it was very refreshing and enjoyable talking with her. The whole experience with Irina was definitely one of the defining moments of our trip. Thank you so much Irina!

Bithday visit for my wife.

We visited the Perfumery Galimard at Eze Village as a Birthday present for my wife !
We were welcomed on arrival and shown to the perfumery studio, we had made an appointment for the Studio, here we met the lovely Irene who helped my wife concoct a totally unique perfume for her Birthday, I sat in on the experience and we were treated to Coffee and Champagne, we both found the experience relaxing and informative, I must say that Irene was a thoroughly lovely person and endearing, She made the experience which while is not cheap, very memorable, she is an intelligent person who uses her skill to guide you, without any pressure.

Great Learning Experience in 270 years old Perfume Centre
Sep 2018
After a conference in Switzerland my wife and I drove to France, South, on the Autoroute du Soleil, for vacations. We stayed in Grasse, lovely and historic city. My wife makes natural cosmetics and I make perfumes, for private use, we started not long ago. Then of course I had to go to Galimard! To learn! Learn more, to be amazed by the historic savoir-faire. I took a private 2 full day course with Galimard perfumer Ms. Irina Nesa. Irina is a kind and knowledgeable professional who walked me through the intensive course in which I learned much about processes, scents and composition, all hands on. I got to know and to smell all the roses, Jasmin and lavender from the region and abroad, and many other fragrances, their scent family, etc. Irina tutored me in making my own Eau de Parfum, which I wanted to be masculine and somewhat 1980s powerhouse-like. Without seeing the labels I chose for the base, heart and head notes according to my own taste, idea and imaginary. At the end it was ready, a dark amber coloured EDP for men which I named "Route du Soleil". During the course we talked about arts, music, photography, composition and stories, all linked to perfume making. After finishing and receiving my Diploma from Irina, other colleagues perfumers came from the lab for the photo and told me how they liked the scent. Irina brought a chilled bottle of champagne and we celebrated. I am very thankful to Irina, her colleagues and the house of Galimard. Back in Canada, at my work place, my colleagues like the scent and one of them already ordered a full bottle from Galimard for her husband for Christmas, because he had smelled it and liked it. Over Thanksgiving here in Canada, my relatives were all excited about the "different and unique" scent. Both places in Grasse, the studio and museum, are beautiful places, and full of soul of scents and history!
Thank you very much, Galimard!

GALIMARD EZE
Apr 2018 • Friends
My friends and I got to visit the Galimard Perfumery on a planned visit to the factory in Eze village..

Since we had already visited one perfumery already we had an idea of the different scents but we still learnt a great deal on the tour and got to know they started out making perfume for leather...

We were also really looking forward to making our own perfume but realized we were meant to book the perfume making before that day...

Still look forward to making my own scent on a subsequent visit to the perfumery..

We bought some of their perfumes and other products including hand cream and we got some freebies as well...

The French definitely know how to make great perfume..

Galimard is a perfume factory and a mini museum at the same time. You should go if you are into perfumes and skincare products. You can buy perfumes at their shop and bring home some local Nice products.

Fun and informative!
Nov 2016 • Solo
This is a good place to stop by after you've had a chance to visit the hilltop village of Eze. The tour is quite informative and afterwards you will have an opportunity to try out their products. The staffs were helpful and friendly, and if you are into perfumes, it's highly recommended that you book one of their workshop to make your own. This place is great for day trips and also for perfume afficionados alike.
