There are 2 Notre Dame churches in Cannes. This one is just behind La Croisette (sea front) and the other is up the hill in Le Suquet (old town). A lot of reviews listed here are referring to the later.

Eglise Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage is near to Palais des Festivals. It's a very large, Romanesque style, parish church. On the outside wall of the church is plaque marking the site of where Napoleon spent his 1st night following his return from Elba in 1815.

On the Sunday afternoon there was a free classical music recital (organ and piano) which I attended. The concert was excellent and the church was full, mainly with local people. Donations were taken at the end of the performance.

Had the chance to walk by that church a few times last week and very much enjoyed the atmosphere around it. It has a beautiful architectural design and it is a very peaceful and relaxing place. Worth stopping by and check it out.

A pleasant church. It was our first stop after we arrived by train. We were heading to the harbour which is nearby. Worth popping into.

Not sure I understand the two chandeliers, they are in complete conflict with the fine stain glass windows. Lots of renovations going on and its moderate size is very functional for a local church.

Nice old architectural holy structure with an interesting past. Worth the short visit it takes to tour.

This place was stayed by Napoleon, so it’s special. I feel peace when I was there, the church is not big but so elegant and quiet.

We went here to light a light in rememberance of a lost one. The church itself was not the most impressing one, but it served its purpose that day. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for that day, though!

This beautiful church is located in a corner in Cannes near the port. I went there in the evening and my friend discovered this. It is worth visiting but not as a place where you would like to spend hours if you are not religious. The architecture and stain glasses are impressive but they do not have the antiquity to boast about.
