While here it was abit of fun to look at where the stars have been and look at the hand prints. Take a picture on the red carpet (red stairs).

Cannes is famous for its Film Festival, gravel beaches, blue azure bay, famous Carlton Hotel, its rich and famous visitors. We traveled in a Rainey November morning. The famous Palaris does Festival or the Festival Hall is located neat the corner of the bay close to Carlton hotel. My wife walked on the famous entry ramp where red carpet is... More

If you're in Cannes you might as well walk around and see the famous red carpet and their "hands" walk of fame. We didnt go in just walked around. Cool area.

It's worth a few seconds to see where the stars climb the red carpet and/or get your photo taken there - but that's about all you can do there. Don't go out of your way for it.

As the title state it: it is nothing out of the ordinary. But if you don't see it you will still think you loose the opportunity of a life time so go see it and be dossapointed. By the way today the red carpet was red but dark

You would have thought that such a place would have had a better exhibition regarding cinema history or film making. This place was dull and uninspiring.

I am fortunate to receive the invitation to the film festival and it really is a wonderful experience, surrounds all the glamor of movie stars and watch the movies in Companion their own stars

Expected this to be something good to see, the building is so ugly, the 'red carpet' on those famous stairs was filthy. It basically just makes Cannes look ugly. Don't waste your time here.

How it was made, filthy or sacred, glamorous or interesting, people should appreciate the importance of this great address informing and telling us stories through the years of superb films. For me this an honest place to tell your own story through actors and big white linen on the wall.

Really disappointed that it wasn't anything more then a stairway with a red carpet! Although the handprints where very cool! The festival area was also closed for tours which also was a disappointment.
