We took the Riviera Line boat from Golfe Juan (not Cannes) to Ste. Margaurite (one of the Lerin Islands). The boat was comfortable, the crew was pleasant and competent. It is a very short ride, but very pleasant.
I suspect leaving from Golfe Juan is a little more complicated than if we would have left from Cannes. First, there was not the option to purchase tickets online from Golfe Juan, though you can if you leave from Cannes. Second, there are two port areas in Golfe Juan and it is not obvious which one to go to. Once you find the right port, it is obvious where they are, but since Google Maps only had their Cannes location, we had to learn the hard way.
The last note is about the schedule. There are a few times they always run and a bunch of "optional" times, but no explanation about what that means. Seems a call they make that day, maybe depending on expected people and/or time of year.

We had a lovely day sailing around Cannes with Riviera Lines. The catamaran picked us up just before 10 a.m, and took us around the Lerin Islands. We dropped anchor and had a lovely swim in the channel, and were served lunch on board. There were only 8 or 10 passengers on a large boat. Perfect day! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great trip from Juan les pins to Cannes which involved 2 boats each way. Staff were very helpful and wrote down all the times so we didn't miss the connections. Lovely boats too so would highly recommend!

We (6 pax) booked a round trip from Golfe Juan to St Tropez. It was our friend's birthday and we had an exciting day planned in St Tropez. 5 minutes before the ferry was due to depart, the operators decided to cancel the service due to low numbers. We were informed we would be driven to Cannes and get the return service from there.
We had a great day in St Tropez and upon our return to the Cannes ferry terminal in the early evening, we were surprised to discover we would not be transported back to Golfe Juan. We had not been informed we would need to make our own way back from Cannes and were told to catch the train back to Golfe Juan. No trains were running so we ended up having to get 2x taxis for our group which cost us an additional 60 Euros.
We went back to the Gofe Juan terminal office the following day to ask for a partial refund as the service we received was not what we booked and paid for, and it did put a dampener on our friend's birthday. The man at the office smirked and pointed to the T&Cs on the ticket which basically said they can change or cancel the service at any time and no refunds will be given. Keep this in mind when making your booking.
It's real shame the communication on what was happening was so poor and left our group confused. The ferry staff and the staff at the Cannes terminal were lovely, they were completely let down by the late cancellation and lack of explanation by the Golfe Juan team.
If you do book with Riviera lines be prepared for last minute cancellations and zero care for the customer experience. If we had known the day would end up like this we probably would've just taken a taxi each way.

I have written to Riviera Lines today with my concerns about passenger safety.
There was no safety briefing upon boarding the boat. The only language spoken was in French although clearly most of their guests are visitors to France and speak English, Italian etc....
In the event of an emergency there were no instructions where to find the life jackets .... or indeed what to do.
It’s 2018 every time you get on a plane or train there are clear instructions what to do in an emergency and in several languages.
I’ve been to the islands twice in the last 3 weeks with Riviera Lines.
The second time the sea was very rough and the majority of much larger boats around us decided not to sail for safety reasons ( Saturday 23rd June). Very young children were wandering around the top deck and yet neither the captain or his assistant asked them to sit down ( or their stupid parents for that matter!!)
So - I wrote to Riviera Lines today and expressed my concerns - and I’ve been fobbed off with “ I will pass your concerns to our Directors” so I’m understandably not very impressed!
You choose - a day trip in the sunshine or your family’s safety !!!

We arrived at the ticket booth at 1:05 pm and the sign was posted for the 1:00 pm ferry (which had not yet pulled into the dock). The ferry arrived at about 1:10 pm and left for the island at 1:20 pm. We were told to be sure to be at the dock for the departure at 15 minutes after each hour (as published in the guide we were given). We arrived at the dock at 3:10 pm. The ferry did not arrive until 3:20 pm -- we were the first to board. The ferry did not leave the dock until 4:10 pm (so we're not sure if it was the 3:15 ferry that left 55 minutes late, or the 4:15 ferry that left 5 minutes early!) Either way, we wasted an hour sitting in the sun on a ferry that we could have used to explore the Riviera!

ABSOLUTELY ZERO COVID-19 regulations!!!! It’s almost like they haven’t been told about the epidemic or they just don’t care. We went for what was suppose to be a pleasant day on the island but were faced with overly packed boats and people without masks. If they continue to function in this way I wouldn’t be surprised if they are responsible for many people contracting the sickness.

We travelled from Golfe Juan to St Tropez for the day. The boat was perfectly OK and ran to schedule. A few things that could be improved:
- The website didn't make clear that we'd have to transfer on the Ile Sainte-Marguerite and wait for another boat. Quite a faff which added significantly to the journey time. If we'd known we'd have taken the bus to Cannes and picked up the boat there, saving almost an hour and a few euros.
- The booking process is a bit primitive. You need to phone or email in advance to make a reservation, then pay in person on the day of travel. It is not possible to just turn up without a reservation.
- The crew were friendly enough but the commentary (in English and French) on the places we were passing was a bit lacklustre and not very informative
- At over €50 per person it is quite expensive, possibly because the alternatives for getting to St Tropez aren't very attractive - either going by car or catching the train to St Raphael and then the bus to St Tropez
If they could address any of these points I'd probably up the rating to 4 star.

Not many people seem to know about this fabulous trip along the coast calling at La Napoule, Theoule and finally the little Port of delightful La Figueirette with its excellent café. It only runs in June, July, August and September though. It's a rather limited service so you should get a leaflet / timetable from the Tourist Information Office at the Palais and then plan your trip. You have to go to book at the Office for the boats to the Isles where the tenders come in from the cruise ships and the helipad is. You can book a return trip or a single if you want to stay in Theoule and then catch a number 22 bus back into Cannes. These are fairly frequent and go from right by the Port. Believe us, you will not regret the views you will get as you sail along quite close to the coast line. We shall certainly go back again next year.

We were very satisfied with RL services. Easy to buy tickets, Very friendly staff always helpful. They follawed timetable. They only have very high prices for drinks on the boards, 0,33L can of beer costs 4,50€. We took a boat from Golfe Juan to Marguerite island and Saint Tropez. But generaly we can recommend to use RL for boat trip to many places.
