Loved our day on the island, walking everywhere. Snorkelling was great too and water was beautifully clear. Large trees protect you from the sun (we had 37C!) and near the ferry you will find some small restaurants which were ok.

We took the ferry to Ile Sainte-Marguerite, walked a round the island, toured though the Fort Royal, a 17th century prison that once housed the 'Man in the Iron Mask.' We stopped at the Restaurant L'Escale and had and order of their "small fish."

A definite highlight for our boys. I appreciated the presentation and snacks\beverages offered. A bonus considering it"s a 2ish hour trip from Nice-Saint Tropez. If visiting Saint Tropez try for a Saturday to experience the outdoor market.
