About
For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. For details, call tel. 06-14-09-49-39.

I took the train on Sunday afternoon, the price is 12 EUR they only accept cash. Being still amid Coronavirus, I am not sure the seats, front panel or earphones are disinfected between 2 rides. Masks not required.
Lovely journey, they take you along the most famous and beautiful hotels and beaches in the world, famous Foreville market, and you have 10 mins of free time by the Musée de la Castre, a place on the hilltop of the Old Town which offers amazing views.
Agree with the previous comment that there wasn’t enough information but too much music.
Overall a very positive experience, would definitely recommend!

There's not a lot to see in Cannes other than the landmarks on the Croisette but, for those of us with mobility issues, this is a great way to get to the 'Suquet', with its fabulous views. It costs 12 euros and lasts about an hour. There is no hopping on or off except at the top for five minutes. It departs hourly from the Palais des festivales. The audio guide is in several languages.

This was a last minute booking and a very convenient and easy way to view most tourist attractions of Cannes with some audio on the history of the places visited. Takes you to vantage points from which one can take good photos of the city and sea below. Especially useful if one is doing a day or two visit to Cannes.

A great little way to see Cannes for 12 euros!
Went with my mum on a Saturday morning in March but the first train which was supposed to be at 10am didn't go till around 10:30am when they had more than 8-10 people!
Well worth the money and a fun way to see the town plus heading up to the top for amazing views!

Went on this train when we arrived in Cannes. 12 euro per person which I thought was reasonably priced. Soon as we sat down we was off. The tour took about 1 hour and took in all the sites of the city. All the landmark hotels and churches and local landmarks. English commentary was played through out so we knew about the things we were visiting. We really enjoyed it.

After asking, we sat in the train waiting for departure. After waiting for 20 minutes after the announced departing time (the drivers were chatting all the time while watching us) we asked why the tour was not starting. Then they informed us that there must be a minimum of 10 people to start. We wasted 20 minutes waiting for nothing. The drivers are careless. Never again.

The train ride started off well until we had a tyre puncture and had to stop. From here this is where it went down hill for us. We were told another train was coming within 10minutes. This never arrived. We waited for 40 minutes for the driver and another tourist to help him change the tyre whilst multiple trains driven past us. The driver was arguing with what appears to be the manager. One tourist asked this manager if she could jump on his train as there were some spaces and in a rude manner told her no. When we eventually arrived back we had no sorry or apology from none of the staff and when us and others approached the sales desk they didnt care and said go away. Again no apology of what happened.

On our first day in Cannes it rained, so we took the train just to have something nice to do while we waited for better weather. I liked it very much. Guided tour with fun facts about celebrities who lived in the fancy hotels so long ago. I really could see it all clear like a little fairytale. The train takes you around all town and up to the church on the hill over old town. It is a fine way to see what you would like to go back and look at more later.

Hallo, we are a tourist couple who wanted today to make the big tour with the “le petit train in” Cannes. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the guy who was responsible for the clients. We asked exactly if there is going to be the tour at 4.30 o clock and he said of course, you can take a seat and I will come to be payed. So we were sitting and we were waiting with patients until 4.50 o clock without response from anybody there. 4 people werde hanging out and we’re talked and talked without giving any notice. Until I went asking if we are finally going to start the tour. Everyone from this 4 guys were extremely unfriendly, rude and ironic, saying that they are not making the tour because we are only 4 persons in the train.
The problem is, that they saw as all this time sitting there and they didn’t had the kindness to inform us about this. Where should we know about this, especially if we can’t speak the language and it is written as the one of the smart man said.
It is unacceptable such a behaviour and we are really very disappointed from your employer! So sad that they couldn’t understand their mistake and this ironic behaviour was for us unacceptable.
You should be very careful wat for people you have sitting there…

I'm not so good at walking, so the Petit Train was ideal to go round Cannes to see the basic sights. We had used the similar train in Nice a few days earlier and expected a similar service. However the staff in Cannes were rude and totally disinterested in the passngers. I speak virtually fluent French but was shouted at when I asked if they accepted cedit cards (they don't).
In particular several of the headphones didn't work and once you have started the trip it's not possible to change seats to find a set that did work. Added to which the French commentary was broadcast over speakers so it was difficult for my non French-speaking wife to hear the English version (when it was working).
But the route was interesting and the 10 minute pause at the top of the Old Town was ideal for photos andthe views.
Such a pity thjat the company doesn't run the same way as the one in Nice which is excellent....
