Sums it up, the place is brilliant. We tried a few of the pates, meats and cheeses and weren't disappointed. If you stop near a friendly vendor you'll also get a sample of everything he's selling. Be warned though, once you try, you will try and eat everything!! Mornings only

You HAVE to visit this famous food market! (Mornings only.) It looks and smells amazing - all the fresh produce (fruit, salads, cheeses, meats, home-made food, fresh pasta, wild mushrooms, fresh and dried herbs, fresh fish, oils and olives, vinegars and vegetables) such a feast. It is lively and happy, there are large stalls and small, sometimes just one elderly... More

A typical southern French market with goodies paints will lick your fingers. I tasted a few and of course, the famous tarts tropezienne. Delicious! You will find fruits, pies, tarts, meat specialties, everything that you want in style local dishes. And it is very close to Rue Meynadiere.Vanzatorii are nice and invites you to taste.

The colorful and lively market located in the heart of the city is a very interesting place where you can spend some time enjoying the colors, smells and tastes of fresh fruits, cheese, vegetables and other food. There are also many relaxing cafes in the neighborhood!

Marche Forville Market is a covered food market that’s open daily from 7:30am to 1:00pm. It’s a great spot to shop for fresh produce as well as food souvenirs. We had some delicious baby bananas and mini strawberries and picked up some homemade olive paste to take home. There are also a few vendors selling cooked items on the spot... More

I expected too much. I like local markets with an atmosphere. Marche Forville is none of such. It does not appeal nor does it look inviting. There are so many better markets. Closed on Monday, open from 7-5:30pm. At 9 some stalls were still preparing but I don't blame them. It was so cold today. It's all about vegetable and... More

If you cook yourself its a must to visit this place! As the whole market is covered by a roof you can also enjoy the fresh offering of provencal products such as fish, cheese, sausages, vegetables, fruits and flowers when its raining! Anyhow its a pleasure to walk between the market stalls in an ocean of colors and smell of... More

There is nothing quite like wandering round this market taste-testing, watching all the locals - including gastronomic chefs, pick and choose a range of fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, spices, nuts, meat... The list is endless. A must for when coming to Cannes. Delicious, fresh, tasty and be warned, a bit on the expensive side!

During weekdays fresh produce market. Lots of vendors and excellent quality fruit and vegetables. Also cheeses and related products. On weekends the market becomes a antiques and curios market. There's a car park nearby (Parking Suquet-Forville) quite convinient.

Walked through the market after looking through recommendations but was really disappointed. It was in actual fact a wet market you'd find back home, didn't notice anything unique or special about it. In & out of the market in less than 5minutes. Perhaps we came too late or on a wrong day.
