The museum has vastly compressed since our first visit, apparently by selling off a chunk of their land to a camp grand (that installed a swimming pool). Bonsai Museum of Biot is a small outdoor exposition of a couple of dozen bonsai trees. While common in Japan, it's one of the few places in Europe with trees of such quality. We found this outdoor "museum" by accident, searching for the Leger museum--which we've still never seen, as it's not once been open when we've been there. This outdoor bonsai garden, though, is a gem in its own right. We take friends to see it all the time, as it's completely different kind of attraction than other things to do in... More
