I decided to make Antibes my home base for a trip to the Riviera as they have two beaches rated among the top "handiplages" in France and Plage du Ponteil is one of them. I could not have made a better choice. This is the...More

There are better beaches in Antibes ... this one smells a bit and there are flies all round. We moved la Gravette beach which is much better!

One of our favourite spots around Antibes, not on "Esterel" level for clearness of water and space, but easier to access and very good for where it is, great food cabins at regular intervals with fair prices and surprisingly tasty food. Disabled water sports and...More

Sandy, clean beach right in the old town. A lovely view, calm water. Good for families. Teens enjoy it in the evenings.

One of the better beaches in the area. Beautiful views, not DIRECTLY on the road and it has a small, shallow protected bay to swim in with only the softest sand under your feet! Quite a small beach so best to go early.

We regularly visit the plage du Ponteil or Salis. It’s great to find an expanse of free clean and tidy beach. We can always find a spot to sunbathe even on a busy summer weekend. The view is amazing all year round and we enjoy...More

We've spent years visiting the small cove beach down by the boats in harbour but this year we spent every day at this beach. We much preferred it as the water is shallow and beautifully clear. I spent the week snorkelling and watching the fish...More
