Great to see how artist Peynet and Serre combine art with humor and other emotions. Take 30 minutes. Entrance only €3 for a senior couple!

You may never have heard of Raymond Peynet but his whimsical artwork is lovely. We have several of his posters and cartoons in our home. We enjoyed this museum much more than the Picasso museum.

Although I quite like Raymond Peynet's whimsical style of painting and illustrating, the extra bonus of an exhibition of the work by French cartoonist/humourist Bosc was the icing on the cake. Witty, satirical social commentary at its best!

Here you will see nice romantic and satiric pieces - posters, illustrations, small sculptures, even chess. Leaves nice impression and interesting to visit. All comments are in French though.

This one is kind of an odd ball. Worth the price of admission 😉 After looking at fine art in museums for weeks you sometimes just need a break. This one fills the bill

I've never heard about Raymond Peynet before visiting the place and yet found this small (French only) museum very interesting. Besides fascinating Peynet's works, there are also exhibitions by other French caricaturists and it makes the museum even more fun to visit.

This small museum is like visiting someone's house -pleasant and peaceful. His works are happy, colorful, innocent as if you were inside a children's book. Vintage Air France brochures were great too.
