We went to Antibes by train from west Nice. It was lovely 16 min trip by the sea coastal. Antibes is a small admirable town, with cute market & small eat & drink shops. Port is amazing, Picasso museum is definitely worth to visit. It has a collection of Picasso drawing & paintings when had a studio there. It was informative to discover Picassos' relation to Antibes & it's artist. The museum is beautiful located. After visit you can have long walk along the coat & end up resting on one on the sandy beaches on the at.

Won't complain about a 5 star review, lol but I think I needed to mention it ;-) For the rest, I'm glad to hear that you had an amazing time in my beautiful town. Hope to see you on one of my experiences and activities next time yu come back around here so you would be able to properly rate me ;-) All the best. Cedric

There appear to be many definitions of the so-called “Riviera.” According to the locals living in Alpes Maritimes, the Riviera refers to the Italian side of the Mediterranean coast and stretches from Cannes through Antibes, Nice and Monaco to Menton on the Italian border. Most tourist stay within 10km of the coast and never get into the foothills of the Alpes. Of course, one can visit beaches all along the coast, but I suggest that you visit at least one interior village, or better still take the one euro bus from Nice airport to Isola 2000 to go skiing, snow shoeing, or playing in the snow! Along Cannes has its red carpet, Antibes has its yacht harbor, and Menton has its lemons, Nice and Monaco are the jewels of the Côte d’Azur. I will cover each in separate reviews.

Hi Geoffrey, I'm not sure how you end up writing this here but I'm assuming that's a mistake as I haven't seen you on our tours. Our business is called WhatToDoRiviera and we are providing tours in all these destinations. I do agree with you though about the fact that tourists coming here also needs to visit the coutryside and have at least one experience in a village "perched" on the rocks! And as I love my Antibes, I'll say that Antibes' got a lot to offer in term of charm, authenticity, quaintness, etc... To me, it is the most beautiful village on the coast! ;-) Anyway, all the best to you and next time you came in the area, please don't hesitate to join one of our tours so you see things in a different way!

we had an awesome time with Cederic. He knew the history and sites extremely well and made it come to life. He is a great guide. It was a relatively small group and showed us the local sites and the areas that no doubt we would never have found or known about. The tour was at a very comfortable pace for everyone and about the right amount of time...about 2 1/2 hours.. Truly fun. Thank you Cederic!
