Such a perfect day! Lucky with the weather as we had a sunny day for an oil painting lesson in the vineyards of Château Roubine in the Var. I was running late but Adela said 'take your time don't stress' which was so lovely. Met at the reception by Adela and driven down to the place in the vineyard where everyone was already set up and painting I chose not to join the group but to set up in the vines 30 m away- this allowed me not only to try my hand at oil painting for the very first time, but just to admire the scenery and listen to the sounds of nature and truly de-stress. It was like a meditation class of 3 hours. Mona the local artist was very pleasant to chat to and very accepting of my wish to 'do my thing'- she showed me how to draw the perspective in outline, how to mix colours and how to paint the different shades I could see. I hope to go have some more lessons with her now I have found my art mojo. All painting finished we then headed to a lovely little house in the midst of the vineyard for a picnic lunch beautifully arranged by Adela. That's where the social side of my day started as we all chatted happily over lunch and a couple of bottles of the Chateau's wines. Lunch over we headed up to the tasting area of the vineyard to be given a private tour in English and French of the wine making facilities and to then have a tasting session of as many wines as we wanted to try. Goes without saying that I bought a case of wines home with me. All in all an excellent day out, well worth every penny and superbly organised by Adela. Highly recommend.…

I spent an afternoon painting in the enchanting setting of Chateau Renoir in Cagnes-sur-Mer. I loved everything about it, from the site to the painting tutor and the activity itself, which I found very inspiring and relaxing. I also met wonderful people that day. But most of all, I was really impressed by Adela's dedication, organisation's skills and attention to details. Being an event planner myself and a perfectionist, I was really impressed by the quality of Adela's work and would highly recommend these art and cultural adventures to anyone, including to those who are not necessarily art enthusiasts.…

Spent half a day in a nice company watercolour painting and in Chateau la Napoule. Followed by lunch on a terrace and a tour of the castle. Paints and paper were provided to us as well as our wonderful Dominic who gave us tips on how to paint. Adela was a great organiser and looked after us making sure we were happy. I was able to relax and recharge, just what was needed after a few stressful weeks. Highly recommend!…
