I sent my daughter from the USA for 3 weeks; she is 15 and it was the first time she was flying alone so far and for so many weeks. Since the day one the girl that handle our booking was really reassuring. Ludmila had an issue with the flight and was swiftly handled by the team. She had an excellent stay, improved her French drastically and made a lot of new friends. Had quite a lot of freedom in the program, I was a little bit afraid of that, but it was also well handled, with shuttles to the city center and the curfews I think she actually enjoyed very much to have that time to be with her new friends, by themselves. Camp was very well located, good food and nice facilities. I was surprised to hear the supervisors were not all French, but they explain they needed international staff to cover all languages which makes sense, anyway, she said all spoke French to her all the time, which is what we wanted. Overall a great experience, highly recommend. I had sent my boy to another camp in Nice and this one was by far a better experiEnce

Dear Valentina, thank you so very much for this nice review. We try really hard to be as reactive as possible when it comes to unforeseen situations, specially as we are dealing with children. Delighted to hear Ludmila made a lot of progress and new friends. Is really nice to hear she enjoyed the facilities as well as the monitors. We will be happy to see her back in our camp next year. I sent my son and my daughter to their camp in Antibes this summer, a great experience overall. They were well looked after and enjoyed the courses and also the outings. I think the best part was the international atmosphere, they really enjoyed making new friends from other countries. The premises were comfortable, not very far from Antibes center which was convenient as we were staying here with my husband. Food could be improved. A big thank you to Andreas that was exceptional in his dealings with us. We will be coming back next year.

CIA charge a lot extra for special diets. My son is a coeliac and therefore has no choice but to be gluten free. However he lost a lot of weight whilst he was there and when I asked him why, he said that he had been unable to eat lunch on many of the days as a Gluten free option was not available. He just had a packet of crisps or some salad. I did pay quite a lot extra for the special diet, and this is really annoying to hear. Coeliac disease isn't a fad or a choice and to charge extra for the food is annoying but we accept it, however then to not feed him properly at lunchtime ... The family he stayed with was absolutely super and the hostess did cook well for him. He enjoyed the classes (intensive), loved the trips and seemed to make a lot of friends. It appears that it is well set up other than this issue.

Dear Catharine, thank you for your review regarding the courses in our camp. Lovely to hear he enjoyed the courses, his host family, and the excursions. Our rates for Gluten free meals are in line with the prices of the pre-cooked meals. We would like to investigate further this situation as is not normal that he did not have the meals, we purchase all the meal for gluten free in advance, normally with the student himself, would you please send us your name and the campus he stayed at to direct@cia-france.com, we would like to have a chance to rectify this situation. Thank you again for your time writing this review. CIA Antibes team.
