While it is a nice sight to see from a distance, it is, after all, a bridge and hence there is only so much to see. However, it makes a pretty sight along with the river

It offers a nice view of the old city and along the river. You can walk out the length of the bridge, and there is an audio guide that gives you information and the history at various points.

One of the main attraction to visit in Avignon. Great view and excellent access for wheelchair. A visit with guide will make the place tell more stories to you

Sur la pont d'avignon...we've sung the song, now go see it! Nice walk out onto the bridge plus an informative museum and story of this historic and iconic bridge. Small entrance fee is worth the views of Avignon from the water.

The view from the bridge onto the town and the palais de papes is magnificent. It's a prime photo shot, the angle in which the old buildings line up in the background is perfect. You won't get that from the other bridges. The bridge itself...More

To have a good experience get the audio guide for this one. It's a famous bridge with a long history. Unfortunatelonly, only part of it is left today. But it's still worth a visit.

The famous bridge in the song is scenic but surprisingly small, compared to what it was in its heyday. Best viewed from the great park beside the Papal Palace and the Avignon Cathedral, where you get a great view of the river and the Loire...More

An interesting visit but once you've walked the bridge, you have to reflect on its history. It is a shame that they didn't keep the sculptural completion of the bridge. It made sense of the song 'Sous le Pont D'Avignon' when the bridge crossed over...More
